Schon nächste Woche findet vom 30. Mai bis zum 2. Juni die XIX. Tagung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Allgemeine und Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft (DGAVL) zum Thema „Zwischenspiele“ statt. Bei der Tagung, die dieses Jahr am Campus Neues Palais der Universität Potsdam stattfinden wird, werden auch wir als Fachinformationsdienst in unterschiedlichen Formaten mit dabei sein.

The new registry of dissertations on avldigital.de enables you to present your doctoral thesis project and to network with other PhD students. All PhD students whose thesis project has a focus on Comparative Literature are invited to enter their project into the registry!

New features for Networking and the Index of Researchers

The Networking module is the interactive information and community platform on avldigital.de. We have now updated the way posts on Networking are being displayed. Posts can now be filtered by various criteria. Individual categories (CfP, Events, Vacancies, Institutions, Projects and Websites) now offer a better overview thanks to advanced sorting options. And you can now subscribe directly to our newsletter while registering for the Index of Researchers.

New on CompaRe: Studien der Paderborner Komparatistik

The series "Studien der Paderborner Komparatistik", edited by Prof. Dr. Jörn Steigerwald and Prof. Dr. Claudia Öhlschläger, presents of research conducted at the Department of Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of Paderborn. The volumes are published open access via the Paderborn University Library's repository and are additionally archived on avldigital.de's publication service CompaRe.

Digital teaching in Comparative Literature - A new module on avldigital.de

Due to the Covid-19 pandemia, all university teaching needs to be realised digitally on very short notice. Even though there is no lack of local and online support for the teaching staff of universities, everybody is confronted with the same questions: How to start teaching digitally, what tools to use, which guidelines to observe, how to support students? On avldigital.de, the Specialised Information Service Comparative Literature supports teaching scholars in Comparative Literature in finding answers to these questions. To this end, it has formed a close cooperation with the initiative "Digital Teaching German Studies" and its information platform.

2. Förderphase des Fachinformationsdienstes Allgemeine und Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft (FID AVL) bewilligt

Der FID AVL geht in die zweite Runde: Die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft hat den Antrag auf Fortsetzung des Projekts bewilligt. Am 1. Juni 2019 kann damit die zweite Förderphase des FID beginnen.
