The DFG-funded project forTEXT develops low-threshold information and other services that are designed to introduce scholars without prior knowledge to the routines, instruments and methods of digital text analysis and interpretation. The approach of forTEXT is to pick up traditionally working literary scholars where they stand.
The collaboration between forTEXT and the FID AVL aims to make the tools and services (CATMA annotation tool, annotated directory of digital tools, project-related consulting services for digital tools and methods) known in the Comparative Literature community. forTEXT will be the most important cooperation partner of the FID in the development of the planned thematic portal "Digital Comparative Literature".
