Starting October 1st, 2020, the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School for the Humanities Cologne, the graduate school of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Cologne, offers

8 “Predoc” scholarships for the preparation of a doctoral dissertation project,

each of € 1.103 per month and for a time period of six months.

The purpose of the “Predoc” scholarship is to enable candidates to begin working towards a doctorate at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Cologne immediately after obtaining their qualifying degree. The scholarship holders are supported for one semester during which they are able to develop a doctoral project with a specific focus on interdisciplinary aspects.
