"This is a miscellaneous group of documents comprising remainder sheets of official publications printed in Quebec, 1795-1800, and issued with a common title page. Different copies have slightly different order and combinations of documents. In some cases, the remainder sheets apparently having been exhausted, the document has been reprinted verbatim, including the original title page on paper obviously made later than the date of the imprint. This collection, first issued in 1800, was also issued from time to time later, with the same 1800 title page, or with an 1824 title page, or an 1823 title page. These later issues include also later documents, 1801-1839. The volume occasionally appears with a binder's title: "Public Acts, vol. O" or "Lower Canada Statutes, vol. O" in a file of Canada, or Lower Canada, session laws". Cf. Tremaine
