Congress took into consideration the report of the committee of arrangement, and thereupon came to the following resolutions -

the good people of the state of Pennsylvania, and particularly those in the vicinity of the camp, expressed a desire of furnishing the army with the produce of the country were markets regularly established for that purpose ... on the second Monday in February, at eight o'clock in the morning, the market will be opened -
By the Honorable William Heath, Esq ; major-general in the army of the United States of America. A proclamation
Whereas the honorable General Assembly of the state of Massachusetts-Bay, were pleased on the 30th day of April last to pass the following resolve, viz "If any person .. shall sell or dispose of any wine, spirits ... to any British or foreign troops" ... the major-general calls upon all persons ... to pay strict attention to the foregoing resolve ... Given under my hand at head-quarters, in Boston, this 10th day of July, A.D. 1778 -

Resolved, that the captain or commanding officer of each company in the service of the United States shall, at the end of every month, furnish the regimental pay-master with a pay roll -

Resolved, that every officer, who holds or shall hereafter hold a commission or office from Congress, shall take and subscribe the following oath or affirmation -

Whereas Sir William Howe, commander in chief of his Britannic majesty's forces, has required, that provisions should be sent in for the subsistence of the American prisoners in his possession ... and has prohibited the circulation of the money struck by the authority of these states ... And whereas large sums of Continental bills of credit have been counterfeited and issued by the agents, emissaries and abettors of Sir William Howe. Resolved, that the accounts of all provisions ... supplied by the public to prisoners ... be liquidated and discharged, previous to the release of any prisoners -
