    Nous étions sidérés : la pandémie de la Covid-19 avait monopolisé nos existences, nos relations, nos espaces. Elle réquisitionnait nos pensées, nos corps, nos institutions. L'hôpital, le musée et l'université traversaient cette épidémie en se réorganisant pour trouver de nouvelles façons d'exister dans un espace-temps incertain. Dans ce contexte, célébrer le bicentenaire de la naissance de Louis Pasteur (1822-2022) offrait l'occasion de suivre le fil qui mène des découvertes microbiologiques d'un chimiste à celles du coronavirus, non seulement pour ressaisir une histoire scientifique, mais plus fondamentalement pour mieux comprendre comment le visible et l'invisible tissent ensemble le monde symbiotique de nos existences. L'exposition « Prendre soin », dont ce livre est la trace et le prolongement, propose de renouer visible et invisible, science et sollicitude, art et médecine, pour comprendre comment toutes ces dimensions convergent vers un care, un soin ouvert aux relations multiples. Elle met en scène ces convergences et ouvre « un moment du soin ». Frédéric Worms nomme ainsi ce nouveau cadre interprétatif qui revisite notre monde et notre temps à partir des choses concrètes, des corps et des personnes, tout en les éclairant d'une intelligence et d'une attention ouvertes à la vulnérabilité constitutive de l'existence

    Almost a decade has passed since the outbreak of the economic crisis; from its original nucleus, its effects have quickly affected the social and geopolitical fields. Such wide impact and its complex implications make the crisis an object susceptible of multiple readings. The particular aim of the studies collected in this volume is to explore the impact of the crisis on law, culture and society, in order to test the depth of the problem, by comparing the analytical perspectives obtainable from legal and human sciences. The book focuses on three main issues: the crisis as a social object, in order to consider the crisis in terms of its attributing force; the problem of democracy, which is becoming an increasingly central question now, as the changes imposed by the crisis have begun to settle down; the interdisciplinary challenge that, in time of crisis, questions paradigms of knowledge, competences and methods, in order to enable an heuristic dialogue between human, social and legal sciences.
