    Other ; Cet article s’intéresse aux différentes fonctions que l’on peut attribuer aux éléments fabuleux dans les œuvres du marquis de Sade. Il s’agit en particulier d’éclaircir les liens intertextuels entre Barbe-Bleue et un conte allégorique que le marquis publie, en 1800, dans la série de ses Crimes de l’amour, sous le titre de Rodrigue ou la tour enchantée. Dans ce texte, la chambre interdite renvoie aussi à un passé criminel, mais elle ne réveille pas la mauvaise conscience et ne suscite aucun remords. Sade semble vouloir faire du conte de Barbe-Bleue le paradigme d’un refoulement manqué, la figure d’une rechute malencontreuse dans un passé archaïque et indigne d’être examiné moralement. Or, les œuvres de Sade ne peuvent plus admettre l’univers surnaturel des contes de fées, considéré comme tout aussi révolu que cette conscience morale qui s’exprime par le remords.

    Other ; During popular elections in Switzerland, the Federal Council announces the governmental position by means of brochures that are sent to all citizens. These brochures are characterized by a tight correlation between argumentation and interaction at two levels: the interdiscursive and the interlocutive. The aim of this paper is to show, on the basis of representative brochures, how the argumentative strategies used by the Federal Council affect this correlation. In the brochures proposing a referendum project, for instance, we notice a limited interaction due to their rational argumentation and their tendency to focus on the point of view of the Federal Council. However, in the brochures supporting or rejecting the popular initiatives, we observe a rise in interactive procedures. These procedures can be convergent or divergent, and they are associated with different argumentative strategies that go from “overbid” to polemic. All in all, a study of these governmental brochures confirms that the analysis of political discourse is enhanced by the so-called “dialogical” models (Plantin 2005) of argumentation. ; Other ; Lors des votations populaires en Suisse, le Conseil fédéral fait connaître la position gouvernementale à l’aide de brochures envoyées à tous les citoyens. Celles-ci mettent en jeu une corrélation étroite entre argumentation et interaction, tant sur le plan interdiscursif qu’interlocutif. L’objectif de cet article est de montrer, à partir de brochures représentatives, comment une telle corrélation varie fortement selon les stratégies adoptées par le Conseil fédéral. Ainsi, dans les brochures proposant un projet de référendum, on remarque une interaction limitée, en raison de leur argumentation rationnelle et de leur tendance à se fermer sur le point de vue du Conseil fédéral. Par contre, dans les brochures soutenant ou rejetant des initiatives populaires, on observe une montée au premier plan des procédures interactives. Celles-ci peuvent être convergentes ou divergentes, en liaison avec différentes stratégies argumentatives qui vont de la surenchère à la polémique. Au total, ces brochures gouvernementales nous confirment que l’analyse du discours politique gagne à être repensée à l’aide des modèles dits « dialogaux » (Plantin 2005) de l’argumentation.

Il développe pour ce faire une poétique où une pratique généralisée de l’antanaclase permet de dénoncer à la fois la presse et ses lieux communs par rapport aux prostituées.

    Abstract ; Aesthetics represent a major theme in K.W.F. Solger's (1780-1819) philosophical as well as philological intellectual development. Our work, based on his manuscripts and on the posthumous editions, will enlighten its genesis and reception between 1800 and 1830. After presenting the sources, we describe how these are connected to one another and which concepts they let prevail (notably symbol, tragedy and irony). His intellectual biography is then being drawn from a historical inquiry stressing out his role in the University of Berlin between 1811 and 1819. A comparison between the different types of texts available today will finally point out the literary stakes of a work that has been kept unfinished by its author and has been widely revised by its posthumous editors. This research is mainly based on correspondence and aims at pointing out Solger's relationships to his contemporaries in the Romantic and Idealistic Berlin.

Martin Pickavé is a Research Fellow at the Thomas Institute of the University of Cologne. Biographical note: Jan A. In the Middle Ages more than in other periods, eschatology informed the way people understood humankind and the world. The papers in the present volume are devoted to the complexity and interconnectivty of the eschatological orientation of the Middle Ages. Central topics are questions of the influence and formation of eschatological themes in philosophy and the significance of ideas of the final end in medieval political thought. In addition, there is a consideration of further themes from history, theology, art and literature. The 29th volume of the Miscellanea Mediaevalia contains the papers delivered to the 32nd Cologne Medieval Studies Conference plus additional contributions. The volume includes five papers on the 50-year history of the Thomas Institute, which has been organising the Cologne Medieval Studies Conference for the last half century. Stärker als in anderen Epochen prägte im Mittelalter die Eschatologie das Verständnis vom Menschen und der Welt. Die Autoren des vorliegenden Bandes widmen sich der eschatologischen Orientierung des Mittelalters in ihrer Vielschichtigkeit und ihren Wechselwirkungen. Schwerpunkte bilden hierbei Fragen nach dem Einfluß und der Gestaltung eschatologischer Motive in der Philosophie sowie nach der Bedeutung der Vorstellungen vom Ende im politischen Denken des Mittelalters. Daneben werden weitere Themen aus dem Bereich der Geschichtswissenschaft, der Theologie sowie der Kunst- und Literaturwissenschaften behandelt. Der 29. Band der Miscellanea Mediaevalia enthält die Vorträge der 32. Kölner Mediaevistentagung vom September 2000, erweitert um einige zusätzliche Beiträge. Fünf Aufsätze zur 50-jährigen Geschichte des Thomas-Instituts, seit einem halben Jahrhundert der Veranstalter der Kölner Mediaevistentagung, ergänzen diesen Band.
