    Abstract: Antony Pogorelsky (1787-1836) (the pseudonym of А. А. Perovsky) was one of the writers active in the early stages of Russian romantic prose, when romanticism, with its new artistic outlook based on rapt attention towards and keen interest in the inner world of feelings and emotions of its literary heroes, replaced the literary movement of sentimentalism with its orientation toward the ideas of the enlightenment. The current article is aimed at the investigation of the first book by A. Pogorelsky "The Double, or My Evenings in Malorossia", the novelty of which lies not only in the fact that the book is directly correlated with the traditions of West European romanticism (which was undoubtedly well-known to the writer), but also in the introduction of a new principle of composition into Russian literature (the cycle of several stories united through dialogic framing), which was the first experiment of this kind in the Russian literary environment and would soon become one of the favo

    Abstract: Die literarische Gattung "Fastnachtsspiel" war im Mittelalter eine beliebte Spielform, die in den Wochen vor Beginn der Fastenzeit insbesondere in Handwerker-Kreisen zur Aufführung kam. Inhaltlich setzt man sich im Fastnachtsspiel mit dem Herrscher-Bürger Verhältnis, der Kirche und der Sexualität auseinander. Während die gängigen Herrschaftsstrukturen im Fastnachtsspiel kritisiert und pervertiert wurden, wurde das Geschlechterverhältnis bestätigt. Anhand eines Vergleichs der Lebensrealität von Frauen im Mittelalter, ihrem sozialen und rechtlichen Status und der Darstellung der Frau im Fastnachtsspiel wird aufgezeigt, wie sich das bestehende Geschlechterverhältnis durch sexuelle Metaphern, durch Spott und Hohn fortschreibt. Eine "umgekehrte Welt", wie sie im Fastnachtsspiel entworfen werden soll, spart den Aspekt der Geschlechterhierarchie folglich aus

    Abstract: Margaret Atwood is the most prominent Canadian writer. Her feminist ideology is clearly obvious in her novels. She overtly illustrates her feminism view in human rights equality and freedom of choice. Atwood's works are consisted of the fundamental freedom and human rights. In general, her fictions truly portray the women's rights that are equal to men's rights. Social constructions of gender are attacked by Atwood's novels. Her stories represent the silence and sexual discrimination in female characters. She is not only looking for annihilating of the gender system i.e. women's subjugation, but look at men and women at the same level in society. Female bodies in Atwood's point of view have been captured in patriarchal societies. Female protagonists in the selected novels explain noticeable symbols of bodily nervousness.     Abstract: This artile with social view point is going to study the social thought of Forough’s poem, specially based of female, freedom, tradition and modernity. It focuses on these features of Forough’s poem from a different point of view towards social issues. This article studies the social meanings of Forough’s poem that are specialized for her. It tries to show the feminism poem which is unique in Iran. After these survey, the article tries to assert that Forough Frokhzad is the most social female poet in Iran; Forough with her courage and boldness used a kind of norm breaking through her poems and speak about social issues.     Abstract: In her article "The politics of gender" Elaine Hobby gives a clear image of the confusion evoked in modern mentality by the juxtaposition of Renaissance literature and history. The romantic scenes portrayed in the wonderland of Renaissance poetry seem uncompromisable with the bare facts of historical record.     Abstract: Feminism is a collection of movements which struggles for women's rights. Focusing on gender as a basis of women's sexual oppression, feminist scholarship attempts to establish equal rights for women politically, economically, socially, personally, etc. The Joys of Motherhood highlights Buchi Emecheta's critical view toward colonialism and racism affecting Third world women's lives. Besides this, Emecheta goes further to display African women's invisibility and marginalization-which were out of sight for a long time-in terms of some aspects of Western feminist discourse. Her creative discourse, in this regard, casts further light upon the issue of gender oppression in African feminist study.     Abstract: The present study discussed the influence of one of the eighteenth-century British women of color, the feminist Mary Wollstonecraft, on William Blake. By adopting a biographical and also a comparative approach, the authors tried to highlight the influences of Wollstonecraft's personal life, character, and career, chiefly her A Vindication of the Rights of Woman (1792), on one of William Blake's less-referred-to poems Visions of the Daughters of Albion (1793). The study will help readers to both know Wollstonecraft's prominence and also to grasp more of William Blake and his poetry.     Abstract: Ziel der Betrachtung ist die Frage nach dem wechselseitigen Zusammenhang von Gegenstand und Form in Bezug auf die Analyse von Lebensproblemen und Selbstidentifikationen von Autobiographinnen. In diesem Sinne werden die methodische und methodologische Vorgehensweise bei der Analyse von Frauenautobiographien von 1890 bis 1914 und deren Ergebnisse vorgestellt. Neben der Auswahl der Untersuchungsgruppe wird die Analyse der Autobiographien nach dem Verfahren der 'Grounded Theory' vorgestellt. Als Resultat ergaben sich für die Autobiographien fünf Lebensthemen: Familie, Beruf, Politik, Dichtkunst und Musik. Die Hauptrepräsentanten der jeweiligen Lebensthemen sowie die dazugehörigen Vergleichsfälle wurden ausführlich sequenzanalytisch interpretiert. Hierzu wurde auf Interpretationsverfahren narrativer Interviews (Fritz Schütze) zurückgegriffen. Bei der Vorstellung einiger Ergebnisse der Autobiographie-Analyse wird deutlich, dass die Autobiographinnen ein weites Spektrum autobiographischer
