    Abstract: Mit der Gründung der Islamischen Theologie hat sich seit den 2010er Jahren ein Studiengang etabliert, der über seinen Bezug zum muslimischen Glauben Studierendengruppen einen Anschluss an die Universität eröffnet, die aufgrund von geringerem kulturellen, symbolischen und ökonomischen Kapital zuvor seltener in die Hochschule eingemündet sind. Gleichzeitig bricht eine Vielzahl von Studierenden das Studium ab. In diesem Artikel untersuchen die Autoren die Muster dieser Studienabbrüche. Hierfür beschreiben sie zunächst die (Einführung der) Disziplin Islamische Theologie im deutschen Kontext, gehen anschließend auf das theoretische Konzept der (Nicht-)Passung ein und zeigen dann, dass bzw. in welchen Konstellationen eine temporäre Affizierung über nicht-bildungsbezogenes Kapital im Studienverlauf nicht verstetigend wirken kann. (DIPF/Orig.) Abstract: Islamic Theology is a new discipline in the German context, established in 2010. It is epistemologically defined as a discipline investigating Islam from the inside. By referring to Muslim faith or religion from an inner perspective, new groups of students are mobilized by the program to participate in higher education. This is particularly true for students from milieus with lower educational capital but with religious knowledge and/or interest. However, a large number of these students subsequently dropout. The paper shows the forms of those dropouts in Islamic Theology by referring to the concept of non-fitting in educational research. The main finding is that a specific religious capital (or, more generally, non-educational capital) can motivate students from 'non-traditional groups' to join higher education, but that educational capital is crucial to successfully integrate them into the higher education system in the long run.     Abstract: Sprachlich-kulturelle Vielfalt spielt in der Schule auf mehreren Ebenen eine Rolle. Sie lässt sich zum einen auf die Schülerinnen und Schüler beziehen, für die Deutsch eine Zweitsprache darstellt, und zum anderen auf den Unterricht in sprachlich-kulturell vielfältigen Klassen. Die empirische Studie untersucht, wie Lehramtsstudierende sprachlich-kulturelle Vielfalt bewerten und welche Motive, Erfahrungen und Hintergründe dabei eine Rolle spielen. Mithilfe von Interviews werden Einstellungen von Lehramtsstudierenden zu den genannten Aspekten erhoben und eine Typologie dieser Einstellungen entwickelt. Auch ihre Einstellungen zu Lerngelegenheiten im Rahmen des DaZ-Moduls werden einbezogen, ein bisher in der Forschung kaum untersuchter Aspekt. Insbesondere die Verknüpfung mit der zuvor entwickelten Typologie bietet ein besonderes Potenzial zur Reflexion und Weiterentwicklung der Lehrkräfteausbildung. (DIPF/Orig.)

    Abstract: Public history culture recently is characterized by controversial debates on monuments, their replacement or alteration. History education which aims at enabling and empowering students to partake in such controversial public history culture needs to address these in terms of developing historical consciousness and competencies of historical thinking.     The volume brings together seventeen chapters by typologists and typologically oriented field linguists who have recently completed their Ph.D. theses. Through their case studies of selected theoretically relevant issues the authors highlight the mutual importance of language description, on the one hand, and of cross-linguistically informed theory, on the other. Faced with new data from previously unknown languages and even from lesser-studied varieties of European languages, linguists constantly have to deal with the inadequacy of established concepts and typologies, being pushed to further refine their classifications and to question the accepted borderlines between different categories, types, and levels of linguistic description. The scope of the individual contributions to the volume varies from worldwide typological samples to family-internal typology to in-depth studies of single languages. The range of linguistic domains addressed include tonology, morphology, syntax, and lexical classes. Among the phenomena scrutinized are clitics, tones, case, agreement/indexation, localization, pluractionality, desideratives, lability, comitative constructions, raising, verb formation, nominal classification, parts of speech, and predicates of change. More general theoretical and methodological issues addressed include such topics as markedness, grammaticalization, lexicalization, and the integration of linguistic data and description. The book is of interest to typologists and field linguists, as well as to any linguists interested in theoretical issues in different subfields of linguistics. A particular contribution of the volume is to present a synthesis of typological and descriptive approaches to the study of language, and to highlight the fact that broader typological study and the focused investigation of particular languages are interdependent ventures that necessarily inform each other.
