Pour chacune de ses œuvres et performances, elle convoque nouvelles technologies - qu'elles soient scientifiques, médicales ou biologiques -, algorithmes et autres data. À l'occasion de l'exposition Artistes & Robots, qui se tiendra du 5 avril au 9 juillet 2018 au Grand Palais, elle pousse le processus très loin en créant, avec une société de robotique française, un robot à son image: l'ORLANoïde. Si l'artiste a déjà conçu plusieurs sculptures lui ressemblant, en marbre, en 3D Printing ou en résine, cette œuvre, dotée d'intelligence artificielle et collective, est animée et dialogue avec deux visages de l'artiste vidéoprojetés sur un grand écran. Les questions échangées sont celles imaginées par diverses personnalités du monde culturel et scientifique qui ont accepté de participer au projet
