    Vor einem begeisterten Publikum hält Ernst Jandl im Wintersemester 1984/1985 die Frankfurter Poetikvorlesungen. Seit den sechziger Jahren zählte Jandl zu den wichtigsten deutschen Schriftstellern experimenteller Lyrik und Theaterstücke, hier nun filmt ihn die Kamera im Hörsaal: beim Sprechen, Pfeifen, Wangenaufplustern, Grimassieren. Wir sehen den Autor mit Rasanz, Ironie, Boshaftigkeit und Lust an Lauten und Tönen seine "visuellen Lippengedichte" darbieten, bei geschlossenem Mund seinen "Beitrag zur neuen Innerlichkeit" zu Gehör bringen oder liebevoll Kurt Schwitters' "Kleines Gedicht für große Stotterer" vortragen ... Wir haben teil an den bis heute wohl heitersten Poetikvorlesungen, die Jandl selbst in ein Kunstwerk verwandelt und die mit der vorliegenden Ausgabe erstmals seit der Aufnahme vor 25 Jahren in voller Länge vorliegen.     The ancient Greek lyric poet Simonides of Keos was the first poet in the Western tradition to take money for poetic composition. From this starting point, Anne Carson launches an exploration, poetic in its own right, of the idea of poetic economy.
