Other ; In this paper, we analyze the dramatic configuration of the devil in three plays by Agustín Moreto, Los siete durmientes (1651) El más ilustre francés, San Bernardo (1657) y El azote de su patria (1669). The main prospect is not only the study of the stage power of a character with such a wide range of theatrical and artistic possibilities, but also his structural role in the conflict and his decisive influence on the action even when he is not actually present.

Other ; Taking into consideration Lope de Vega’s corpus of hagiographical comedia, we value how the typical comicality of arte nuevo became compatible with that pious sense which was essential to hagiographical plays. We discuss the different roles played by festive laugh in a dramatic subgenre which intended to lead the audience to devotion. The aim of this article is to deepen into the strategies through which comedias de santos contributed to a double prospect, festive and pious. ; Other ; A partir del corpus de la comedia hagiográfica lopesca, se trata de valorar cómo se compatibilizó la comicidad propia del arte nuevo con el contexto piadoso consustancial a las piezas hagiográficas. Se reflexiona sobre los diferentes sentidos que podía adquirir la risa festiva en un subgénero dramático que aspiraba a mover el auditorio a devoción. En última instancia, se pretende profundizar en las estrategias mediante las cuales las comedias de santos sirvieron, simultáneamente, a un doble propósito, festivo y piadoso.

Abstract: La murmuración constituye en el siglo XVI e inicios del XVII español un escándalo, un “pecado de boca” o “pecado de lengua”, cuya codificación se inició por los casuistas y moralistas de la escolástica en los siglos XII y XIII y continuó en el contexto de la Contrarreforma. A lo largo del siglo XVII esa reserva religiosa constituye asimismo una normativa religiosa y comunicativa en cuanto a la producción oral y textual en el ámbito literario y extra-literario. El concepto de murmuración pone en tela de juicio la legitimidad y la función social del texto, el cómo mediático, estilístico y retórico de su manera de comunicar y el asunto que trata o tematiza, pero también el espacio público o la esfera pública obedeciendo a prescripciones morales o éticas comunicativas cuya infracción se condena con el término de murmuración como una forma de “maldicencia”. ¿Cómo reacciona el texto literario a tal normativa, cómo la puede convertir en un recurso literario o tal vez en uno de una crítica literaria avant la lettre? Estas cuestiones se analizan a partir de algunos ejemplos de la obra de Miguel de Cervantes

Abstract: Nowadays is growing importance of interdisciplinary research and in the field of cultural diversity, multiculturalism and intercultural cooperation. It is important also to take into account the global processes of changes associated with the dissemination of digital information and communication technologies. One of the theories which are essential in this area of research is the concept by E. Sapir and B.L. Whorf. The purpose of the article is to introduce into a current condition of scientific dispute concerning the views of these authors on the relationship between language and cognition.
