    This paper provides a brief overview of methods to incorporate ecosystem service values into measures of agricultural total factor productivity, both in theory and in practice. This includes a review of the academic literature, summary of related economic index theory, and comparison of agency guidelines. We consider areas of consensus between the agencies and research literature, as well as open debates surrounding implementation of a standardized ecosystem accounting framework to integrate with existing TFP measures

    Successful work - either invested to create or to obtain a product - increases the customer's valuation of the product. These phenomena are called the IKEA and the trophy effect. We test both of them separately as well as combined and find that the trophy winner effect looms larger than the IKEA effect for inexpensive items, in our case paper planes. For more expensive products, in our case 3-D-puzzles, we find a trophy loser effect. Positive emotions of trophy winners drive our result for inexpensive products, whereas negative emotions of trophy losers drive our result for more expensive products. We discuss the implications of our findings.

    The intersection of recent advancements in generative artificial intelligence and blockchain technology has propelled digital art into the spotlight. Digital art pricing recognizes that owners derive utility beyond the artwork's inherent value. We incorporate the consumption utility associated with digital art and model the stochastic discount factor and risk premiums. Furthermore, we conduct a calibration analysis to analyze the effects of shifts in the real and digital economy. Higher returns are required in a digital market upswing due to increased exposure to systematic risk and digital art prices are especially responsive to fluctuations in business cycles within digital markets.
