    Basierte Paulus' Sicht des Bösen auf dem Fall Adams oder war sie nur ein Reflex der Christologie? Tyler A. Stewart argumentiert, dass im Galaterbrief die Gedanken des Paulus darüber, woher das Böse kommt und warum es fortbesteht, nicht auf Adams Fall als Hintergrundgeschichte basieren, sondern auf dem Narrativ der Rebellion der Engel. In this study, Tyler A. Stewart investigates narrative explanations for evil in Galatians set in the context of Second Temple Judaism and early Christianity. Scholarship has typically interpreted Paul's view of evil based on Adam's fall or a mere reflex of Christology. In contrast, the author argues that in Galatians Paul's view of evil is based on the narrative of rebellious angels found in the Book of Watchers. Additionally, he claims that Paul's use of Enochic tradition is consistent with Second Temple Jewish literature and finds support in early Christian reception of Galatians.

    Husserls Theorie der Intersubjektivität ist alles andere als ein abgeschlossenes, endgültiges System. Sie ist vielmehr eine riesige begriffliche Baustelle, bei der die Baugerüste verschiedenartiger phänomenologischer Versuche und Ansätze überall zu sehen sind. Die Grundabsicht der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es daher, die Perspektive auf die Problemkonstellation der Intersubjektivität so weit wie möglich zu erweitern, um sowohl Husserls erste Versuche, dieses Problemfeld zu umgrenzen, als auch seinen späten Entwurf einer transzendentalen Intersubjektivitätstheorie ins Auge zu fassen und als Etappen eines einheitlichen Bemühens zu sehen. Dabei wird auch der Schlüsselcharakter des Intersubjektivitätsthemas deutlich, das eine Transformation der Husserlschen Transzendentalphilosophie veranlasst und vorangetrieben hat. The question of intersubjectivity, which constitutes the main topic of this work, is one of the most intricate problems of Husserl's transcendental phenomenology. In order to deal with this problem, the author combines a historical approach with a systematic approach, thus opening up a new perspective on the matter.

    The final form of the book of Jubilees is commonly dated to the Hellenistic period. It may come as no surprise, therefore, that various parallels between Jubilees and Greek scholarship have been discovered. Yet scholars remain divided on Jubilees' attitude towards Greek culture. In this article, I argue that Jubilees is fully conversant with global intellectual developments in the Hellenistic period and exhibits a type of encyclopaedic rhetoric similar to non-Jewish scholarly writings from this period. At the same time, Jubilees exhibits a local outlook, as it emphasises the timelessness and distinctiveness of the Jewish nation and its laws. Hence, the book must be understood as a "glocal" work, in which global and local trends merge and are intricately intertwined.

    This article brings the literary treasures of ancient Judea into conversation with the interdisciplinary fields of Narrative Ethics and Socio-Narratology while considering Jubilees and Josephus’s Judean Antiquities as participating in the etic genre of national history. This article interrogates the work that each of these narratives do to shape the collective identity of Hellenistic and Roman era Judeans and to shape Judean perceptions of their cultural Others. By analyzing Jubilees 30 and Antiquities 1.337–341 dialogically, this paper claims that Josephus’s re-narrativization of Judean history serves as a corrective to the Israelite representation in Jubilees. It is argued that representations in Jubilees promoted an impermeable boundary between Judeans and Others, with violence as a legitimized and valorized ethic of cross-cultural engagement, whereas Antiquities re-imagined a new future of more permeable boundaries and diplomatic negotiation for first-century C.E. Judeans by re-imagining their past through narrative. Dangerous representations of cultural Others, however, remained a part of the story.
