    The ubiquity of digital images is an effect of their distributive versatility. They can be stored almost indefinitely, transmitted instantaneously, reproduced without any effort, visualized in many ways, datafied and processed. Their mobilization does not take place randomly, but follows a complex media logistics of format standards, infrastructures and transport calculations. Digital images are distributed: not as sessile objects, fixed entities, but as stream-like modulated processes. The study conceptualizes actors and agendas of image data traffic, examines retro-digitized archive image corpora with regard to their distribution histories, and deals with 'calmed' image sensor operations in intelligent environments

    The ubiquity of digital images is an effect of their distributive versatility. They can be stored almost indefinitely, transmitted instantaneously, reproduced without any effort, visualized in many ways, datafied and processed. Their mobilization does not take place randomly, but follows a complex media logistics of format standards, infrastructures and transport calculations. Digital images are distributed: not as sessile objects, fixed entities, but as stream-like modulated processes. The study conceptualizes actors and agendas of image data traffic, examines retro-digitized archive image corpora with regard to their distribution histories, and deals with ‹calmed› image sensor operations in intelligent environments.

    Data Science (DS) is gaining significant importance in the decision process due to a mix of various areas, including Computer Science, Machine Learning, Math and Statistics, domain/business knowledge, software development, and traditional research. In the business field, DS's application allows using scientific methods, processes, algorithms, and systems to extract knowledge and insights from structured and unstructured data to support the decision process. After collecting the data, it is crucial to discover the knowledge.     The ubiquity of digital images is an effect of their distributive versatility. They can be stored almost indefinitely, transmitted instantaneously, reproduced without any effort, visualized in many ways, datafied and processed. Their mobilization does not take place randomly, but follows a complex media logistics of format standards, infrastructures and transport calculations. Digital images are distributed: not as sessile objects, fixed entities, but as stream-like modulated processes. The study conceptualizes actors and agendas of image data traffic, examines retro-digitized archive image corpora with regard to their distribution histories, and deals with ‹calmed› image sensor operations in intelligent environments

    Unlike information and communication technologies from previous generations, which implementation was more restricted to the corporate world, the triad internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence, and cloud and edge computing have use in a variety of human activities. If Brazil lost opportunities in previous decades in electronics, there are reasons for optimism regarding IoT. First, Brazil has a sectoral system of innovation with capacity to generate and implement related Technologies. The country has also developed a well designed plan and a good governance Methodology. Finally, several world class initiatives are a reality. The article brings a characterization of Iot in Brazil, composed of a bibliometric analysis, presentation of the National Plan of IoT and its relationship with the Brazilian Strategy of Digital Transformation, a Survey of IoT studies in the agrobusiness, an analysis of the sectoral policies related to the supply side of IoT, and an international comparison and cases of success in the implementation of the technology in the country.
