    Qu'est ce que la métalepse narrative ? Quelles sont ses formes, ses modes et ses aspects ? Peut-on analyser un texte littéraire en se fondant sur ce procédé et en le considérant comme le noyau de toute oeuvre littéraire ? Le présent travail explore ce procédé appartenant à l'origine au champ de la rhétorique tout en le liant à divers champs d'analyse. Il s'appuie sur un corpus allant de Scarron à Diderot, qui constitue une véritable mine de métalepses. Le point de départ est Le Roman comique de Scarron (1651-1657), on poursuit avec Pharsamon ou Les Nouvelles Folies romanesques de Marivaux (1712), Le Sopha de Crébillon (1742), Vie et opinions de Tristram Shandy de Sterne (1760-1767) et Jacques le fataliste de Diderot (1771). Ces oeuvres ont pour point commun d'être des anti-romans souvent parodiques. En partant d'une perspective narratologique on a pu élargir la recherche à d'autres champs d'analyse. On a donc constaté que la procédure métaleptique est rattachée à la théorie de la réception ainsi qu'à celle de l'énonciation. Ces deux théories sont liées dans la mesure où le texte romanesque est considéré comme une communication entre l'auteur et le lecteur. Ainsi on a pu associer la métalepse à la théorie de la lecture, tout en constatant que, sous ses divers aspects, elle « carnavalise » le texte. Plusieurs passages métaleptiques baignent dans l'univers populaire et grotesque de la société de cette époque. L'emploi de la métalepse est donc un champ d'analyse très vaste et très varié qui participe à I'évolution du roman du XVIIIe siècle. Dans une époque où le genre vit une crise, les auteurs voient la nécessité de le déconstruire pour le redéfinir ensuite et le valoriser en lui donnant un autre statut. Les métalepses, souvent jubilatoires, donnent un plaisir esthétique tout en favorisant I'écriture d'une nouvelle forme de roman What is that the métalepse narrative ? What are its forms, its modes and its aspects ? Can we analyse a Iiterary text by basing on this process and consider it as the grounds of any literary work ? The present work investigates this process belonging to the rhetoric, while bindind it to diverse fields of analysis. It leans on a corpus going from Scarron to Diderot, which constitutes a real mine of métalepses. The point of depart is Scarron's Le Roman comique (1651-1657), we pursue with Marivaux's Pharsamon ou Les Nouvelles Folies romanesques (1712), Crébillon's Le Sopha (1742), Sterne's Life and Opinions of Tristam Shandy (1760-1767) and Diderot's Jacques le fataliste(1771). These works have for common to be anti-novels, often parodies. By leaving a narrative perspective, we have then been able to wide the research to other fields of analysis. We have noticed that the metaleptic procedure is connected with the reception's theory as well with that of enunciation. These two theories are linked as far as the romanesque text is considered as a communication between the author and the reader.So we were be able to associate métalepse with the theory of the reader, noticing that with its various forms, it "carnivalises" the text. Several metaleptic passages concern the popular and grotesque world of this the's society. The use of métalepse is then a very vast and varied field of analysis that contributes to the evolution of the XVIII century's novel. In a time when the genre lives a crisis, the authors saw the necessity of deconstructing it, to redefine it and value it by giving it another status. Métalepses, often jubilants, give an aesthetic pleasure while faciliting the writing of a new novel's form

    Cette étude cherche à examiner les aspects les plus originaux de la littérature féminine africaine et européenne apparue après 1940. Notre objectif principal est de mettre en relation les œuvres d'auteures africaines postcoloniales (francophones et anglophones) avec celles d'auteures occidentales et d'en analyser les thèmes spécifiques. En effet, nous comparons des écrivaines et des textes peu connus et nous les confrontons de manière « horizontale » (observant des liens Sud/Sud en Afrique Sub-saharienne) et de manière « verticale » (observant des liens Nord/Sud et Sud/Nord entre Europe et Afrique) en considérant des sujets caractéristiques, comme « les conditions de la femme et de l'enfant » et « l'engagement » chez les écrivaines This study tries to examine the most original aspects of European and African feminine literature published after 1940. My main objective is to compare and contrast the works of African postcolonial authors (Francophone and Anglophone) with those of western authors and to analyse some specific themes. I consider some little known writers and texts and I relate them in a « horizontal » way (observing South/South similarities in Sub-Saharan Africa) and in a « vertical » way (observing North/South and South-North similarities between Europe and Africa) focussing on some recurrent topics such as the condition of women and children and these writers' political commitment Questo studio cerca di esaminare gli aspetti più originali della letteratura femminile africana ed europea apparsa dopo il 1940.     Univers cauchemardesque et rappel d'un siècle où images et discours ont été mis au service de la propagande de régimes fascistes et totalitaires, The Tunnel ne fait pas que s'interroger sur le rôle de l'image aux côtés du discours mais met véritablement en crise la représentation en renvoyant l'image au discours et inversement. William Gass crée à partir de ce jeu intersémiotique la possibilité d'un espace de résistance et de désobéissance face à une narration dont la visée destructrice et autoritaire donne à voir les fondements de la mentalité de ce qu'il a nommé le « fascisme du cœur ». L'objectif de cette thèse a été par conséquent d'observer la façon dont l'image négocie sa place dans le textepour rivaliser avec le discours. Alors que la première partie de cette étude porte sur le statut de l'image par rapport au discours, sur leur altérité en somme, la deuxième partie analyse, à l'appui de la notion d' « iconotexte » définie par Michael Nerlich et Alain Montandon, les expérimentations intersémiotiques qui visent à redonner au langage sa portée dialogique, de la lettre protéiforme à la phrase-calligramme. La troisième partie de cette étude vise à observer comment les transactions formelles entre narration et photographie dans The Tunnel participent à l'instauration d'une écriture photographique rejoignant la poétique du pictural définie par Liliane Louvel. Le récit de rêve, lieu privilégié du dédoublement dans l'élaboration d'une « fiction au carré », fait quant à lui l'objet de la dernière partie de cette étude consacrée à l'image produite par le texte de métafiction, ou « discours imagé » The Tunnel questions representation as it sets images against discourse and reminds us of a century where image and discourse have served the propaganda of fascist and totalitarian regimes. The complex inter-semiotic play developed by William Gass creates a space of disobedience and résistance against a narration whose authoritarian and destructive goals exposes a mentality that the author called the "fascism of the heart".The objective of this dissertation is to observe the way image negotiates its place in the text in order to compete with a narrative discourse. In the first part of this study, I focus on the opposite roles of image and speech. The second part deals with the notion of "iconotext", as defined by Michael Nerlich and Alain Montandon, through the analysis of inter-semiotic experimentations in an attempt to restore the dialogic dimension of language from protean letters to sentences that shape calligrams. The third part of this study observes how a formal transaction between narration and photography participates in the foundation of a photographical writing that echoes the pictorial poetics defined by Liliane Louvel. The fourth and last part is dedicated to dream narratives, that relate to metafiction as they are stories within stories, and investigates images as products of figurative speech

Alors que la première partie de cette étude porte sur le statut de l'image par rapport au discours, sur leur altérité en somme, la deuxième partie analyse, à l'appui de la notion d' « iconotexte » définie par Michael Nerlich et Alain Montandon, les expérimentations intersémiotiques qui visent à redonner au langage sa portée dialogique, de la lettre protéiforme à la phrase-calligramme. La troisième partie de cette étude vise à observer comment les transactions formelles entre narration et photographie dans The Tunnel participent à l'instauration d'une écriture photographique rejoignant la poétique du pictural définie par Liliane Louvel. Le récit de rêve, lieu privilégié du dédoublement dans l'élaboration d'une « fiction au carré », fait quant à lui l'objet de la dernière partie de cette étude consacrée à l'image produite par le texte de métafiction, ou « discours imagé » The Tunnel questions representation as it sets images against discourse and reminds us of a century where image and discourse have served the propaganda of fascist and totalitarian regimes. The complex inter-semiotic play developed by William Gass creates a space of disobedience and résistance against a narration whose authoritarian and destructive goals exposes a mentality that the author called the "fascism of the heart".The objective of this dissertation is to observe the way image negotiates its place in the text in order to compete with a narrative discourse. In the first part of this study, I focus on the opposite roles of image and speech. The second part deals with the notion of "iconotext", as defined by Michael Nerlich and Alain Montandon, through the analysis of inter-semiotic experimentations in an attempt to restore the dialogic dimension of language from protean letters to sentences that shape calligrams. The third part of this study observes how a formal transaction between narration and photography participates in the foundation of a photographical writing that echoes the pictorial poetics defined by Liliane Louvel. The fourth and last part is dedicated to dream narratives, that relate to metafiction as they are stories within stories, and investigates images as products of figurative speech
