    Abstract: The learning approach to persuasion was considered obsolete following the emergence of new paradigms such as cognitive and constructive approaches. However, according to the evolutions of learning theories and especially the re-emergence of the connectivism paradigm, mainly due to what new technologies have provided, the learning approach to persuasion seems to have reappeared as a powerful approach that has a lot to offer yet. Based on research conducted on transformative learning patterns and algorithms, this paper investigates: i) the applicability of using the patterns and algorithms as well as techniques developed in the transformative learning approach for transformative persuasion, ii) how media can be used in the transformation process. The components of a persuasive transformation model, the factors involved, and major elements of each factor are extracted by constructivist grounded theory (CGT), which is used for theory building, accumulating knowledge and experiences of

    Abstract: This paper seeks to access the stated knowledge about the practices and challenges faced by teachers and educators in the activities of plastic and visual expression in Primary Education in Portugal. As teacher training is nowadays organized in two cycles of higher education: a first cycle of initial training in basic education and a second cycle of specialized training with emphasis on supervised teaching practices, we tried to study some reports of these practices, made to obtain the Master's degree.     Abstract: "In seinem Text 'Die rationalen und soziologischen Grundlagen der Musik' fragte sich Max Weber, warum ausgerechnet im Abendland eine rationale harmonische Musikentstanden ist. Der hier angestrebte Vergleich zwischen Indien und Europa ist ein Versuch, an die Problemstellung der unvollendet gebliebene Musiksoziologie Webers anzuknüpfen. Ausgangspunkt des Vergleichs ist die These, dass die Besonderheiten der klassischen europäischen Musik (insbesondere: Dur-Moll-System, Mehrstimmigkeit, Schriftlichkeit, Komposition) und die Strukturmerkmale der klassischen indischen Musik (insbesondere: Modalität, Einstimmigkeit, Mündlichkeit, Improvisation) als Ausdruck unterschiedlicher Kulturideen verstanden werden können. Im Rahmen der Kontrastierung von Musikinstrumenten (Gitarre vs. Sitar) und Musikformen (Sonatevs. Raga) wird exemplarisch gezeigt, wie die Materialität der Musik als Medium der interkulturellen Hermeneutik fungieren kann.
