    Main description: Con questa nuova edizione, che segue di più di un secolo la precedente (1895), si ripropongono le sei canzoni rimaste di un trovatore dimenticato: Uc Brunenc di Rodez, attivo sul finire del XII secolo. Il testo critico, che è il risultato del tentativo di razionalizzazione di tutti i dati offerti dalla ricca tradizione manoscritta, è seguito da una traduzione in italiano e da un commento essenziale, nel quale si prova a chiarire sia le eventuali oscurità testuali, sia il ruolo di Uc Brunenc nel panorama poetico del tempo. Il volume è aperto da un'introduzione nella quale vengono analizzati le poche notizie biografiche del trovatore, nonché i principali aspetti metrici e testuali dell'opera sua. Chiudono il volume l'Index verborum e il rimario. Main description: This new edition of the six rhymed canzoni by the troubadour Uc Brunenc di Rodez (late 12th century) comes over a century after its nearest predecessor (1895). The critical text, the result of an attempt to rationalize on all the data provided by the rich manuscript tradition, is followed by an Italian translation and a commentary designed to clarify any textual obscurities and the role played by Uc Brunenc in the poetic panorama of the age. The volume opens with an Introduction analyzing the sparse autobiographical jottings left by the poet and the principal metrical and textual features of his work. It closes with an index verborum and a rhyme list.
