On confond souvent l'anomalie avec ce qui est anormal pourtant, facteur de réforme ou de révolution scientifique (T. S. Kuhn), synonyme de mutation biologique réussie (G. Canguilhem) ou de changement d'aspect (L. Wittgenstein), l'anomalie a une véritable fonction heuristique et quasi créatrice. Ainsi, pour commencer par un point d'appui ontologique, nous étudierons d'abord l'anomalie de l'ontologie dans le Timée (la khôra). Après quoi, de Platon en passant par Nicolas de Cues jusqu'à Derrida, nous étudierons l'anomalie d'un point de vue logique, épistémologique et phénoménologique de façon à forger un concept qui pourrait nous inciter à comprendre l'émergence, la transformation, la révolution et la réalité autrement One often confuses anomaly with what is abnormal.
