    Other ; The different aspects of magic became an essential ingredient of bucolic universe since the origin of pastoral genre. Within an idealized and utopic frame, magic built a bridge towards transcendence, and balanced the disharmony created by human love emotions within Arcadian microcosm. This concept of magic became infused to Sixteenth century pastoral novel through Neoplatonism and Hermetic tradition. From a narratological point of view, magic episodes became indispensable to complete the philosophical meaning of the works. Lope de Vega, in La Arcadia, published in 1598, fully participated from this tradition, though he will approach the convention from a particular dramatic-like perspective. And it was precisely in pastoral comedias where the Fénix ends up deconstructing bucolic code to remodel it as a mere vestige of the tradition and treat magic as a humorous ingredient.

    Other ; Departing from the concepts of visualism and theatricality understood as the base of the world view of an epoch, a reflection about the presence of a pictorial-based expressiveness in the performance of Lope’s comedias de santos is suggested. Besides the analysis of the suitable contexts and staging procedures associated to the appearance of sacred images on stage, static performances, closer to painting than to drama, are also taken into account as a device which contribute to create that transcendent meaning which is essential to hagiographical comedias.

    Other ; La coincidencia, en las últimas décadas, de un boom de la memoria (Huyssen, Todorov) y un nuevo ciclo de la raza (Laó Montes) ha generado un amplio corpus de prácticas culturales en torno a la memoria de la esclavitud, dando continuación y renovación a la larga tradición de relatos (pos)esclavistas. Estas nuevas prácticas hacen uso del documento y del testimonio, soportes claves de los archivos de la esclavitud, al tiempo que marcan su precariedad y sus paradojas. Ellas proponen nuevos relatos mnemónicos, indirectos, elusivos, contradictorios, incisivos, de lo que fue y lo que queda de la esclavitud. Esta ponencia propone un acercamiento desde estas perspectivas a La ceiba de la memoria, de Roberto Burgos Cantor, y a la producción visual de Marcos Lora Read. Para ello me apoyaré, por un lado, en la propuesta de W.J. Mitchell de pensar la esclavitud como un “estorbo de memoria”, y por el otro, en las reflexiones de Derek Walcott, Édouard Glissant y Toni Morrison en torno a los restos como elemento crucial de las memorias del Caribe. Desde este marco indagaré sobre los modos en que estas memorias residuales se acercan a la problemática del trauma y sus representaciones.

We discuss the different roles played by festive laugh in a dramatic subgenre which intended to lead the audience to devotion. The aim of this article is to deepen into the strategies through which comedias de santos contributed to a double prospect, festive and pious. ; Other ; A partir del corpus de la comedia hagiográfica lopesca, se trata de valorar cómo se compatibilizó la comicidad propia del arte nuevo con el contexto piadoso consustancial a las piezas hagiográficas.     Other ; En este artículo se discute la importancia que comportan la enseñanza y la adquisición de los marcadores discursivos conversacionales para el desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa de los estudiantes de E/LE. Se asume que los marcadores discursivos permiten, además de conectar oraciones y otorgar al texto cohesión y coherencia, inferir la intención comunicativa del hablante y que algunos de ellos pueden funcionar como índices de cortesía verbal. Asimismo, sostenemos la validez de enseñar el español desde una postura pluricéntrica de la lengua. Por tal razón, exploramos los marcadores conversacionales de la variedad mexicana que indican cortesía con el fin de ofrecer una propuesta de categorización de tales marcadores y unos modelos de actividades didácticas para el/la enseñante de E/LE. Consideramos que al esclarecer las funciones que dichas partículas cumplen, el profesor/la profesora puede propiciar la ampliación del conocimiento del estudiante sobre otras variedades del español, así como suscitar la reflexión sobre las diferencias de algunas normas de cortesía verbal en las distintas culturas hispánicas, logrando con ello el fortalecimiento de la competencia pragmática de los alumnos.

    El objetivo de este trabajo ha sido analizar diversas formas de activación de la memoria colectiva y de compromiso social en la literatura argentina de los últimos treinta años. Las obras analizadas aquí (en un corpus que no pretende en absoluto ser exhaustivo) apuntalan y refuerzan la intención oficial de los últimos años de recuperar y estimular la memoria colectiva. Con el regreso de la democracia, los actos de memoria fueron el recurso fundamental para poder enjuiciar a las Juntas militares. De este modo, los sobrevivientes de la dictadura recuperaron finalmente su voz y posibilitaron con su testimonio la reparación de los lazos de solidaridad que la dictadura había cercenado. A partir del juicio a las Juntas, mantener vivo el recuerdo de lo pasado fue considerado como una obligación de los argentinos. Sin embargo, el creciente clima de intolerancia en el país debido a los levantamientos carapintadas poco años después resultó en la voluntad del pueblo de querer enterrar el pasado195: las leyes de Punto Final y Obediencia Debida fueron recibidas sino con beneplácito por lo menos con alivio. El apogeo de la reconciliación llegó luego de la mano de los indultos: olvido y perdón fueron utilizados como herramientas políticas para garantizar la redemocratización. La memoria, tan valiosa durante la transición democrática, fue resignificada como una enemiga de esa misma democracia, apoyada ahora en las bondades de la amnistía. Como se observa, la memoria colectiva no es un corpus estático dentro del imaginario social sino una zona de tensión propensa al cambio permanente según el accionar entre quienes eligen recordar los crímenes del estado y quienes prefieren darle la espalda al pasado y empezar una nueva etapa. . ; Das Ziel dieser Magisterarbeit ist es, die Rolle der Literatur in Argentinien in Hinblick auf die Beeinflussung bzw.     Abstract: This article aims on reflecting on the teaching process of the English language in Brazil starting from a perspective that contemplates the sociocultural factors and also the linguistic factors that might influence the learning of a foreign language. Weinreich, Labov and Herzog (2006 [1968]) see any linguistic changes as the result of a process of linguistic fit between variables internal to the linguistic system and those external to it (i.e. socioeconomic factors).     Abstract: Portuguese Language teaching has faced sustained challenges which address both theoretical and methodological issues towards its practice. Such issues refer to significant practices that provide pupils with a responsive language action. In this context, this paper aims to highlight misspellings which entail the interference of oral language into the writing of second year high school students. For this purpose, we seek to answer the following questions: what are the influences/marks of oral language in written texts of high school students? And how to handle these influences and reverse them according to the grammars of Standard Portuguese? Thus, in order to answer these questions, we support our discussion in light of the works of Marcuschi (2008; 2010); Fávero, et al. (2000); Kato (2002); Bortoni-Ricardo (2004; 2005).     Abstract: Through this study, we develop a descriptive and comparative analysis of metaphorical sentences which contain verbs with iterative and cursive aspectual meanings. The corpus analyzed in this qualitative and quantitative research has a total of 129 metaphors of Brazilian Portuguese and English. The analysis and description of the data were performed from the Semantic Interaction Theory by Max Black (1993), because it understands and emphasizes that metaphor is a special phenomenon in which the terms that make up the statement interact creating a mental operation, in a view that the language creates reality and ways of thinking (Fossile, 2008a, 2008b, 2008c, 2011a, 2011b, 2012b, 2012c; Dias and Fossile 2014). The methodology used for this descriptive and comparative analysis of the metaphorical occurrences of Brazilian Portuguese and English was developed by Moura (2007) and Fossile (2008a; 2008b; 2008c, 2011a, 2012b, 2012c).     Abstract: This paper aims at doing a preliminary study of the recategorization in the process of referentation of the referent Cristo Redentor Statue, based on the analysis of three images taken from websites. We will use as theoretical framework the concepts postulated by Custódio Filho (2011), Bentes (2008), Cavalvante (2005), Dionísio (2011), Koch (2003, 2006), among others. In this study, we will follow what postulates Lima (2003, 2009, 2011), for whom the recategorization is a process understood in a cognitive and discourse dimension, so that allows its conception to be understood to the level of structures and cognitive functioning. Thus, we describe part of an experiment carried out in a high school public school, in which students of 2nd year produced a movie review to be published in school and in a blog.     Abstract: This paper exposes the development of a written proposal in a 2nd year high school students in a rural school district Santa Terezinha in Itaporã-MS and a part of its results, to promote a reflection on new possibilities for work that contribute to close the gap between school written practices and extracurricular and their socio historical relations. We begin from the assumption that the writing is heterogeneously formed the linguistic facts do not separate the social practices (Corrêa, 2004). The proposal constituted the production of a Virtual Journal on Facebook, developed during the Portuguese classes. The analysis of news production and reporting, plus the comments made on the digital platform, enable linguistically show that there is no rigid boundary between writing practices of focused on writing culture and those of digital culture, as they suppose many educators.     Abstract: The political emancipation of the state of Tocantins, Brazil, occurred 28 years ago, The state is characterized by linguistic varieties due to the intense migratory flow of people hailing mainly from neighboring states of Maranhão, Piauí, Bahia and Pará. Porto Nacional, Pedro Afonso and Natividade, founded on the former northern region of the state of Goiás, are the towns with the highest number of immigrants. In fact, they are relevant historical places formed by autochthonous people and immigrants. Since the above-mentioned towns present important variation aspects of the spoken Portuguese language in Tocantins, current study identifies and analyzes rhotic pronunciation, graphematically represented by /R/ as a syllabic coda, in the three mentioned towns.     Abstract: Este artigo apresenta uma pesquisa sobre os processos de formação de palavra na LIBRAS. Os parâmetros (configuração de mão, direcionalidade, ponto de articulação movimento, localização, expressões faciais e corporais), que também podem ser morfemas, compõem sistemas complexos de desinências que estabelecem tipos de flexão verbais: concordância para gênero, para pessoa do discurso e para locativo, ou são afixos que se justapõem à raiz verbal ou nominal. Portanto, em relação aos seus processos de formação de palavra, a Libras é uma língua flexional, embora tenha também características de língua aglutinante, que podem ser percebidas a partir da formação de sinais pelos processos de composição e incorporação

    Abstract: Este artigo traz trechos da biografia do abade l'Epée, escrita por um professor surdo do Instituto para surdos de Paris, Ferdinand Berthier, em 1840. Apesar de enaltecer a figura do abade, criador da primeira escola para surdos na França, Berthier tece críticas ao método de l'Epée, uma vez que, segundo ele, em nome do ensino da escrita correta eram realizadas deformações na linguagem de sinais, modificações que acabavam por torná-la estranha aos próprios surdos. Apesar de escrito há dois séculos o texto de Berthier traz discussões que ainda hoje estão presentes entre os educadores, nas quais o tema central é a língua a que os surdos devem ser expostos no processo educacional. A polêmica língua de sinais versus língua oral apresentava-se, naquela época, como hoje, como o centro das discussões na educação dos surdos

    Abstract: O objetivo do presente trabalho é oferecer uma introdução às reflexões sobre verdade e ciência a partir da abordagem de textos literários, promovendo uma interlocução entre arte e ciência, entre literatura e metodologia da pesquisa (em especial, em educação). Inspirado por uma poesia de Drummond, um conto de Machado de Assis e um romance contemporâneo, de autoria de Lia Neiva, o texto aponta a literatura como forma de se abordarem temas complexos das ciências, como a noção de verdade e realidade, com estudantes de graduação. Introduz, ainda que de modo breve, uma interlocução com produções artísticas variadas – desde imagens com ilusões de ótica até filmes e seriados televisivos – no intuito de tornar as experiências em metodologia de pesquisa mais dinâmicas, mais atraentes e esclarecedoras.     Abstract: A acusação de que o jovem aluno do século XXI não se forma leitor tornou-se senso comum em sala de professores e em conversas de adultos. Despertar no aluno o prazer do texto também tem sido tarefa árdua para muitos docentes que se veem entre os muros de uma escola ainda tão tradicional como a brasileira. Sem descartar a importância da leitura dos clássicos, é imprescindível, contudo, que a escola – e, metonimicamente, o professor – atraia o aluno-leitor para a nova era da ciberliteratura. Esta promoveu uma revolução na história da leitura – do códex ao hipertexto – e ascendeu a função do leitor, o qual se tornou mais ativo, um hiperleitor, apagando assim a função de autor, outrora merecedor de status.
