    L’œuvre lyrique du troubadour Daude de Pradas a déjà fait l’objet d’une édition intégrale publiée par Alexander H. Schutz en 1933. Quatre-vingts ans après, une mise à jour et une révision des résultats présentés par le savant américain semblent nécessaires. Tenu par son premier éditeur pour un auteur tardif et peu original, Daude de Pradas est aujourd’hui à considérer comme un poète actif d’entre la fin du XIIe　et le début du XIIIe　siècle, presque contemporain de la génération dite «　classique　» des troubadours. Les contenus ainsi que la forme de son œuvre sont bien plus intéressant que ce que l’on croyait. Cette nouvelle édition vise à proposer un texte plus fiable que celui établi par M. Schutz. Elle tente de résoudre les conflits d’attribution de certains textes, de les rectifier à l’aide des études les plus récentes des hypothèses chronologiques et biographiques considérées désormais comme acquises. Enfin elle s’efforce d’expliquer, au moins en partie, à l’aide d’un apparat de notes interprétatives et à l’aide des traductions intégrales des textes, les nombreux vers obscurs et difficiles d’un auteur lu seulement de façon superficielle.

    Dans L'Elucidari - l'encyclopédie de Gaston Febus, Maurice Romieu présente le manuscrit l'Elucidari de las proprietats de totas res naturals. Ce manuscrit a été réalisé en occitan vers 1350 pour assurer la formation intellectuelle et morale du jeune Gaston III de Foix-Béarn, qui se fera plus tard appelé Febus. Composé de vingt livres (environ 560 pages), le manuscrit rassemble toutes les connaissances du Moyen Âge. Une autre vision de l'occitan, langue technique et scientifique. Livre écrit en français avec de larges extraits du manuscrit. Richement illustré d'enluminures du manuscrit.

    Si raccolgono in questo volume gli Atti del Convegno Internazionale «E nadi contra suberna». Essere “trovatori” oggi, Università di Ferrara, 20-21 novembre 2018. Insolitamente per la Filologia romanza coltivata in Italia, i contributi vertono sulla letteratura occitanica contemporanea. Gli autori presi in esame sono Frédéric Mistral, Joseph d'Arbaud, Max-Philippe Delavouët, Max Rouquette, Marcela Delpastre, Joan-Luc Sauvaigo, i poeti occitani Sergio Arneodo, Antonio Bodrero, Piero Raina, Claudio Salvagno, e infine Joan Ganhaire. I generi letterari cui le rispettive opere afferiscono interessano la poesia come la prosa. Alcune tematiche comuni a più di un autore, in particolare quelle legate al paesaggio mediterraneo (il Rodano, la Camargue o il mondo rurale limosino), sfuggono ai consunti stereotipi del pittoresco, attingendo piuttosto ai misteri degli elementi e allo spirito panico che anima la natura L'altra questione che si pone è quella della lingua e della cultura occitanica novecentesca che reclama, attraverso la sua letteratura, un'identità maiuscola che la storia ha sacrificato. Ne denunciano lo smarrimento, o la ricusazione di una posticcia, gli scrittori, tra cui Joan-Luc Sauvaigo, nizzardo, che elegge nel ‘confine' il non-luogo in cui il mondo occitano vive esiliato. Rispetto al retaggio trobadorico, cui restano fatalmente ancorati, la scelta di questi autori intende dimostrare la versatilità di tale letteratura, che si esprime da ultimo anche in un genere popolare qual e il poliziesco (Joan Ganhaire). Insomma, quella che è stata definita L'ombre del'occitan (Gardy), dopo i contributi fondamentali di Fausta Garavini, con questo volume tende a venire alla luce. [Testo dell'editore]

    "The crusading movements provoked a vast and diverse mass of reactions in the medieval West. While Latin sources provide official versions of its preaching, organisation and events, the vernacular lyrics of the troubadours and trouvères present a secular perspective, through a cornucopia of on-the-spot responses in France, Occitania, Italy, the Iberian Peninsula, Cyprus, Syria and Greece. This book constitutes the first comprehensive, modern analysis of Old French and Occitan lyric texts relating to the crusades. It brings out their full range, from propaganda for the crusades, to criticisms of crusading and crusaders through vituperation, humour or cynicism, to their use as a pretext for political or personal wrangling.
