    ger: Das Hauptziel der vorliegenden Diplomarbeit ist der Vergleich und die Analyse der kroatischen Übersetzungen des österreichischen Romans ?Gut gegen Nordwind?. Die erste Übersetzung wurde im Jahr 2009 veröffentlicht und lautet ?Dobar protiv sjeverca?. Im Jahr 2010 wurde dieselbe Übersetzung, unter einem anderen Titel, nämlich ?Protiv sjevernog vjetra?, veröffentlicht. Der Übersetzer beider Übersetzungen ist Marko ?ari?. In der deutschsprachigen Literatur gilt ?Gut gegen Nordwind? als erster E-Mail-Roman. Diese Untergattung des Romans existierte bis zur Veröffentlichung der Übersetzung in der kroatischen Literatur nicht. In der Diplomarbeit wurde von der Hypothese ausgegangen, dass einige kulturspezifische Elemente der Ausgangssprache verloren gingen, da sich die Übersetzung in hohem Maße an das Original anlehnt und einige Teilsätze (z. B. Phraseologismen, Kollokationen) ohne Anpassung an die kroatische Kultur und Sprache lediglich wörtlich in die Zielsprache übertragen wurden. Im Rahmen der Arbeit wurde auch auf die E-Mail Sprache eingegangen, die in der offiziellen und privaten Kommunikation gebraucht wird, um die Sprache des E-Mail-Romans analysieren zu können. Aufgrund einer Gegenüberstellung der zeitgenössischen deutschen, österreichischen und kroatischen Werke wurde versucht herauszufinden, ob dieselben Textstrukturen, Themen und Ideen im Roman ?Gut gegen Nordwind? präsent sind und ob Ausdrücke und Kollokationen aus der Umgangs- oder der Standardsprache verwendet werden. Als Methode der Übersetzungsanalyse wurde die Skopostypologie von Erich Prun? gewählt. eng: The main goal of the diploma thesis is the comparison and the analysis of the Croatian translation of the Austrian novel ?Gut gegen Nordwind?. The first translation of the novel was published in 2009 under the title ?Dobar protiv sjeverca?. In 2010 the same Croatian translation was published under a different title ?Protiv sjevernog vjetra?. Both translations are by Marko ?ari?. In the German literature ?Gut gegen Nordwind? is known as the first e-mail- novel. Before the publishing of the translation this genre did not exist in Croatia. In the diploma thesis the following hypotheses were proposed: First, some of the cultural elements of the source language are not transferred as a result of a word by word translation. Second, the translation reclines to a high degree to the original and parts of the sentences (e.g. phrases, collocations) are only transferred into the target language without being adapted to the Croatian culture and language. The diploma thesis also emphasizes the email language that is used in official and private communication in order to analyse the language of the e-mail-novel. With the analysis of contemporary German, Austrian and Croatian literary works I tried to determine whether the same text structures, topics and ideas are present in the Croatian translation of the novel and whether expressions and collocations are used in colloquial or formal language. The skopos typology of Erich Prun? was used as the analysis methode.
