    Die kommentierte Neuausgabe der Ecclesiasticus-Übersetzung von Lüci Papa (nach dem Druck von 1613) macht einen Text zugänglich, der für die Geschichte des Bündnerromanischen und seiner Schriftsprachen von großem Interesse ist. Die linguistischen Anmerkungen zum Text erläutern Eigenheiten des alten Oberengadinischen (Puter), immer mit Blick auf die übrigen rätoromanischen Sprachgebiete Graubündens und deren Einbettung in die alpine Romania. Die Einleitung gibt einen Überblick über die Sprache des Textes und die übersetzerische Leistung von Lüci Papa. Der Vergleich der Sabgienscha mit der lateinischen Zürcher Bibel von 1544 und 1564, die Papa als Ausgangstext diente, wirft zudem ein Licht auf die Geschichte der reformatorischen Bibelübersetzung.
