    Abstract: Der vorliegende Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit der Entstehung und Etablierung des Informatikunterrichtes in Deutschland an allgemeinbildenden Schulen in den 1980er und 1990er Jahren. Mit der Etablierung als Fach ging eine Abgrenzung zum Mathematikunterricht einher, die sich vor allem in der Unterrichtspraxis niederschlug. Dabei waren die Informatiklehrenden gezwungen, die Fachlichkeit des schulischen Informatikunterrichtes zu definieren. Sie taten dies vor allem in Abgrenzung zu anderen Schulfächern mit einem starken Fokus auf Projektarbeit, auf ein Konzept, das zwar bereits bis in die Hochzeit der Reformpädagogik in den 1920er Jahren zurückverfolgt werden kann, dessen Anwendung im schulischen Unterricht der allgemeinbildenden Schulen in den 1980er Jahren aber eher die Ausnahme war. Die Entwicklung zu einem Unterrichtsfach, die "Schulfachwerdung der Informatik", ist dabei geprägt von der Notwendigkeit, dessen Berechtigung über den gesamten Untersuchungszeitraum hinaus zu ... Abstract: This article deals with the emergence and establishment of IT teaching in Germany at general schools in the 1980s and 1990s. The establishment IT as a subject was accompanied by a demarcation from mathematics teaching, which was mainly reflected in teaching practice. IT teachers were forced to define the subject matter of IT lessons in schools. In contrast to other school subjects, they did this mainly with a strong focus on project work, a concept that can be traced back to the heyday of reform education in the 1920s but whose application in school teaching in general education schools in the 1980s was the exception rather than the rule. The development of IT is characterized by the need to justify the legitimacy of this subject over the entire course of study. (DIPF/Orig.)
