    ger: Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit befasst sich mit der Analyse des Kinder- und Jugendbuchklassikers Heidis Lehr- und Wanderjahre der Schweizer Autorin Johanna Spyri und dessen zwei Übersetzungen ins Slowenische. Die erste Übersetzung entstand in der Zeit des Sozialismus im Jahr 1954. Fünfzig Jahre später wurde in der jungen demokratischen Republik Slowenien eine zweite Übersetzung von Heidi angefertigt. Die Übersetzungen entstanden also in zwei politischen Systemen mit unterschiedlichen gesellschaftlich-politischen Diskursen. Dabei wird von der Hypothese ausgegangen, dass beide Übersetzungen entscheidend vom jeweiligen sozial-politischen Umfeld geprägt wurden, was zu einer veränderten Darstellung der ideologischen Position der Autorin zu diesen Diskursen führte.Zu Beginn werden in der Diplomarbeit die Kinder- und Jugendliteratur und die Entwicklung dieses literarischen Bereiches in Slowenien und in der Schweiz beleuchtet. Im Detail wird auf die Übertragung von Ideologie durch kinder- und jugendliterarische Werke eingegangen. Daraufhin wird das Übersetzen von Kinder- und Jugendliteratur erläutert, wobei das Übersetzen von Ideologien und Erziehungsmodellen einen wichtigen Aspekt darstellt. Anschließend werden das gesellschaftlich-politische Umfeld der Autorin sowie der Übersetzerin und des Übersetzers untersucht und ihr Leben und Werk vorgestellt. Zudem wird noch betrachtet, welche Diskursposition die Autorin im Werk Heidis Lehr- und Wanderjahre gegenüber unterschiedlichen gesellschaftlichen Diskursen eingenommen hat. Um die Hypothese zu belegen, wird Gebrauch von Siegfried Jägers Diskursanalyse gemacht. eng: This thesis sets out to analyse the classic children?s novel Heidis Lehr- und Wanderjahre (known in English simply as Heidi) written in German by the Swiss author Johanna Spyri, and the two existing translations of the novel into Slovenian. The first translation was written in 1954 under the communist regime. Fifty years later, a second translation of Heidi was published in the Republic of Slovenia, which had just achieved independence. Thus, the two translations were produced under two separate political systems characterised by different types of social and political discourses. The hypothesis of this study is that both translations were fundamentally shaped by the respective sociopolitical situations in which they were written, which in both cases resulted in a distorted representation of the author?s ideological position towards these discourses.To prove the hypothesis, this thesis first examines children?s literature and its development as a literary genre in both Switzerland and Slovenia. Special attention is given to the communication of ideology through children?s literature. Subsequently, the thesis deals with the translation of children?s literature, with particular emphasis on the translation of ideologies on the one hand, and on pedagogical concepts on the other. Next, the sociopolitical situations of the author and of both translators are investigated and their biographies and ?uvres are presented. In addition, the thesis considers the stance taken by the author throughout the novel Heidis Lehr- und Wanderjahre in relation to different discourses. Siegfried Jäger?s method of discourse analysis is employed in order to substantiate the above mentioned hypothesis.

    ger: In der vorliegenden Diplomarbeit war mein Ziel die Unterschiede zwischen der deutschen Übersetzung von Robinson Crusoe und dessen slowenischen Bearbeitung festzustellen.In der Diplomarbeit habe ich am Anfang den historischen Hintergrund von Slowenien im 19. Jahrhundert beschrieben. Dann folgte das Leben und Opus des Autors Daniel Defoe. Danach habe ich den Hermagoras Verlag, die Rolle des Übersetzens in der slowenischen Kultur und den Übersetzer Janez Parapat vorgestellt. Ich habe über die Entstehung und Definition der Trivialliteratur und über dem Trivialroman als Gattung geschrieben. Ich habe die Rezeption des Romans Robinzon Crusoe in der deutschen wie auch in der slowenischen Kultur vorgestellt.Dann folgte der Übersetzungsvergleich. Die theoretische Grundlage für den Vergleich war die funktionalistische Übersetzungstheorie beziehungsweise Skopostheorie, welche zum ersten Mal im Jahre 1978 Vermeer vorstellte. Mit Hilfe dieser Theorie und bereits bekannten Daten habe ich Skopos bestimmt und These gestellt, welchen der Vergleich beider Übersetzungen folgte. Der Ziel des Vergleiches war festzustellen, mit Hilfe welcher Übersetzungsmethoden Parapat den Text bearbeitet hat und ob seine Übersetzungen äquivalent und adäquat waren. Der Vergleich hat gezeigt, dass Parapat bei seinem Übersetzungsprozess meistens Textteile ausgelassen und gekürzt hat, welchen folgten Zufügungen und Änderungen von Text. Parapat war ein Priester und machte die Übersetzung nach Auftrag des Hermagoras Verlages, deswegen überrascht die Tatsache nicht, dass er dem Text religiöse Elemente zufügte, die in vielen Beispielen lange Erörterungen zusammenfassen. Ebenso näherte er mit syntaktischen Vereinfachungen und angenehmer bzw. fließender Sprache voll von Phrasen und heimischen Ausdrücken die Übersetzung dem nicht ausgebildeten Leser an und betonte dabei die Erziehungs- sowie religiöse Elemente. Am Ende habe ich die Ergebnisse des Vergleiches zusammengefasst. eng: In this diploma my goal was to determine the differences between the German translation of the English novel Robinson Crusoe and the Slovenian adaptation or translation of Robinson Crusoe.At the beginning of the diploma I described the historical background of the 19th century in Slovenia. Than followed the life and work of the English author Daniel Defoe. Next I presented the publisher Mohorjeva dru?ba, its ideology and publishing work, the role of translation in Slovenia at that time and translator Janez Parapat. I wrote about the beginnings and definition of popular literature, its structure and about light novel as genre. I described the reception of the novel Robinson Crusoe in German as also Slovenian culture.In the second part of the diploma I did a comparative analysis of both translations. The basis for the analysis was the functionalist translation theory or skopos theory, which was for the first time presented by Vermeer in 1978. With this theory and already known data I determined the skopos and set a thesis, followed by the comparative analysis of both translations. The goal of the analysis was to determine which methods used Parapat by the adaptation of the German text and if his translations were equivalent and adequate. The analysis has shown that throughout the whole translation process Parapat mainly let out the parts of text and reduced it, followed by additions and changes to the text. Parapat was a priest and did the translation for the Mohorjeva dru?ba, so it is not surprising that he added religious elements, which in a lot of examples summarize long deep thoughts. Also with help of syntactic simplifications and pleasant and fluent language full of phrases and domestic expressions the translator adapted the text for uneducated reader and emphasised the educational and religious elements. At the end I summarized the results and established that the translator confirmed my thesis.

    ger: Ziel dieser Diplomarbeit war es, die slowenische Übersetzung des Romans Cien años de soledad mit dem spanischen Original zu vergleichen, und die Themenblöcke Magie, Humor und Einsamkeit aus dem Roman zu analysieren. Dabei ging ich von der Hypothese aus, dass sich die Übersetzerin beim Thema der Magie stärker an das Original anlehnte als bei den Themen des Humors und der Einsamkeit, da der Magische Realismus als literarische Form in Slowenien nicht existiert. Dadurch werden die Magie und der magische Realismus in der Übersetzung eher originalgetreu dargestellt, der Humor und die Einsamkeit weichen vom Original jedoch verstärkt ab.Die Arbeit wurde in drei Teile gegliedert. Der erste Teil befasst sich mit dem Leben und Werk des Autors, mit dem Magischen Realismus, dem Inhalt und dem Hintergrund des Romans. Der zweite Teil behandelt die Übersetzung, die Übersetzerin und die Rezeption des Romans in Slowenien, und in Lateinamerika. Der dritte Teil enthält die Analyse der Übersetzung. Die Analyse stützt sich auf die von Andrew Chesterman vorgeschlagenen Übersetzungsstrategien: syntaktische, semantische und pragmatische Strategien. Schließlich folgt eine kurze Zusammenfassung der gesamten Arbeit.Mit Hilfe dieses Analyseinstrumentarium analysierte ich 15 Beispiele aus dem Roman. Beim Thema der Magie stellte sich heraus, dass sich die Übersetzerin an das Original stark anlehnte und eher wörtlich übersetzte, um die Magie so gut wie möglich in der Übersetzung zu erhalten. Beim Übersetzen humorvoller Textpassagen handelte die Übersetzerin zielkulturorientierter, indem sie humorvolle Phrasen der slowenischen Kultur anpasste. Die Beispiele beim Thema der Einsamkeit zeigten, dass die Übersetzerin sich zwar an das Original anlehnte, trotzdem aber schlüssige Phrasen oder Ausdrücke der slowenischen Sprache anpasste, so dass die Emotionen noch intensiver wirkten und das Gefühl der Einsamkeit in der Übersetzung betonten. eng: The aim of this Thesis was to compare the Slovene translation of the novel Cien años de soledad with the Spanish original and to analyze the themes of magic, humor and solitude. My hypothesis was that the translator was holding on to the original stronger when translating the parts of the text, which are specific for the magical realism, because it does not exist as a literary form in Slovenia, while she was translating the parts referring to the humor and the solitude more freely. As a result the magic and the magical realism in the translation are very true to the original, while the humor and the solitude deviate stronger from it.The paper is divided in three parts. The first part contains information about the life and work of the author, the magical realism and the content and background of the novel. The second part is about the translator and the translation of the novel. It also contains information about the reception of the novel in Slovenia and Latin-America. The third part is the analysis of the translation of the novel. The analysis is based on Andrew Chestermans translation strategies, which are categorized in three groups: syntactic, semantic and pragmatic strategies.Finally, the results of the analysis will be presented in a short summary of the whole paper.With the analysis instruments I was able to analyze 15 examples from the novel and was able to show, how the individual themes were translated. The magic in the novel turned out to be translated rather literally and very true to the original, so the magic would be preserved as good as possible in the translation. The translation of the humorous passages had to be adapted to the aim culture; otherwise the humor would have gone lost. The examples for the solitude showed, that the translator followed the original, but she still had to adapt many of the key phrases and expressions to the Slovene language, to intensify the emotions of solitude.
