    ger: Die vorliegende Arbeit behandelt zwei Untersuchungsgegenstände. Einerseits werden die Erfahrungen aus dem Krieg Italiens in Nordafrika behandelt und andererseits wird auf die kulturellen Unterschiede zwischen Italienern und Afrikanern näher eingegangen. Als Basis dafür dienen ʻIl deserto della Libiaʼ von Mario Tobino, ʻTempo di uccidereʼ von Ennio Flaiano, sowie ʻRegina di fiori e di perleʼ von Gabriella Ghermandi und ʻAsmara addioʼ von Erminia dellʼOro.Das Schaffen der vier AutorInnen ist dem Postkolonialismus zuzuordnen. Aus diesem Grund erfolgt eine Erklärung dieses Begriffes, ein Hinweis auf seine wichtigsten Kritiker und auf den italienischen Postkolonialismus. Weiters wird auf die Geschichte der Länder Libyen, Äthiopien und Eritrea näher eingegangen.Da die zwei männlichen Autoren selbst in der Zeit des Zweiten Weltkrieges gegen Nordafrika gedient haben, fließen ihre eigenen Erfahrungen in ihre Werke ein, und der Leser bekommt dadurch einen Einblick in den Kriegsalltag. Die beiden weiblichen Autorinnen gehören der zweiten Generation an, daher wurden ihnen die Ereignisse im Krieg nur erzählerisch vermittelt. In ihren Texten spielen die geschichtlichen Ereignisse eine größere Rolle als bei den beiden männlichen Autoren. Nichtsdestotrotz schaffen auch sie durch ihre Werke einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Verarbeitung der Geschichtsperiode, in der die vier Texte angesiedelt sind. Weitere Themen in der vorliegenden Arbeit sind die Kriegsverbrechen, der Rassismus, die militärische Ausrüstung, sowie eine Beschreibung der afrikanischen Widerstandskämpfer und der einheimischen Bevölkerung.Durch ihre Darstellungen leisten Mario Tobino, Ennio Flaiano, Gabriella Ghermandi und Erminia dellʼOro einen großen Beitrag zur Auslegung des italienischen Postkolonialismus und zum Verständnis der gemeinsamen Geschichte Italiens und Afrikas. eng: The present thesis deals with two different objects of investigation. On the one hand the experiences of Italy’s war in North Africa are treated and on the other hand the cultural differences between Italians and Africans are discussed. The present work is based on the four postcolonial works ʻIl deserto della Libiaʼ by Mario Tobino, ʻTempo di uccidereʼ by Ennio Flaiano, ʻRegina di fiori e di perleʼ by Gabriella Ghermandi and ʻAsmara addioʼ by Erminia dell’Oro. As the four texts can be attributed to postcolonialism, the term of postcolonialism will be explained. Moreover, the present thesis will give an overview of the most important critics of it and describes the Italian postcolonialism. At least the history of the countries of Libya, Ethiopia and Eritrea will be discussed. Since the two male authors served against North Africa during the Second World War, their own experience influenced their works permitting the reader to get an insight into the experience of war. The two female authors belong to the second generation, because the events in the war were conveyed to them only on a narrative way. The historical events play a greater role in their texts than in the case of the two male authors. Nevertheless, the two females make an important contribution to the processing of the period of history in which the four texts are located. Other topics treated in the present thesis are crimes, racism, the military equipment, as well as a description of the African resistance fighters and indigenous population. Through their representations Mario Tobino, Ennio Flaiano, Gabriella Ghermandi and Erminia dell’Oro make a great contribution to the interpretation of Italian postcolonialism and the understanding of the common history of Italy and Africa.
