    Acta Slavica Estonica is an international series of publications on current issues of Russian and other Slavic languages, literatures and cultures. The first section of this volume contains articles on the history, poetics and reception of the Silver Age in Russian literature and culture in the late 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. In the second section, titled “It was impossible not to Love Zara Grigoryevna…”, several students of Zara Minz share their memories of her. Are super heroines feminists? How do ancient myths, the biblical story of Samson or Nietzsche's philosophy influence the creators of Superman? And what does the Nibelungen Saga have to do with Marvel?     Obwohl die meisten Werbetexte, Anzeigen und Poster über ein hohes Maß an Literarizität verfügen, werden diese kommerziellen Formen des Schreibens für gewöhnlich von literarischen Texten abgegrenzt. Medienübergreifend werden in Werbeformen poetogene und narrative Strukturen eingesetzt. Umgekehrt ist Literatur heute ein milliardenschweres Konsumgut - und Literaturproduktion und -rezeption damit zwangsläufig von guter Werbung abhängig.Der Band versammelt literatur-, kultur- und medienwissenschaftliche Beiträge zur Funktion und Wirkmächtigkeit literarischer Sprache in Werbetexten, zu Literatur als Konsumgut sowie zu Werbung, Konsum und Überredungskunst als literarischen Topoi.     Akram Zaatari, Emily Jacir, Lamia Joreige, Walid Raad und Yasmine Eid-Sabbagh (re-)kontextualisieren historische Fotografien mittels verschiedener Medien und künstlerischer Formate. (Re-)Kontextualisieren ist dabei mit Wiederholen im Sinne eines nochmals Hervorbringens, eines Wi(e)derlesens gleichzusetzen. Daniel Berndt zeigt, welche unterschiedlichen Perspektiven die Künstler_innen im Zuge dieser Wiederholung auf die Fotografie entwickeln. In Hinblick auf ihre daran geknüpften Auseinandersetzungen mit der Geschichte Palästinas und dem Nahostkonflikt geht er zudem der Frage nach, inwiefern die Künstler_innen damit einen Beitrag zu geschichtsbildenden und identitätsstiftenden Prozessen leisten.

Are super heroines feminists? How do ancient myths, the biblical story of Samson or Nietzsche's philosophy influence the creators of Superman? And what does the Nibelungen Saga have to do with Marvel? This reader - the first collection of and commentaries on texts in German language that deal with the theory and history of superheroes, geared towards the general public - provides answers to the above and other questions, for instance regarding the versatile mediality and history of the reception of superhero stories, the viewpoint the creators of comics have of their art and the changing image of the superhero in current research.

Umgekehrt ist Literatur heute ein milliardenschweres Konsumgut - und Literaturproduktion und -rezeption damit zwangsläufig von guter Werbung abhängig.Der Band versammelt literatur-, kultur- und medienwissenschaftliche Beiträge zur Funktion und Wirkmächtigkeit literarischer Sprache in Werbetexten, zu Literatur als Konsumgut sowie zu Werbung, Konsum und Überredungskunst als literarischen Topoi. Besprochen werden dabei so unterschiedliche Texte wie die TV-Serie »Mad Men«, die Romane von Émile Zola und die Filme Lars von Triers. Commercial esthetics or art? Lichtbildnerische Reproduktionen sowie das Aufgreifen bekannter Bildformeln in inszenierten Fotografien - etwa im Werk von Rita Nowak, Tatiana Antoshina und Sam Taylor-Johnson - führen zu Kaskaden der Korrelierbarkeit und Déjà-vu-Effekten.
    Ausgehend von Theorien der Intertextualität, Interpiktorialität und Intermedialität untersucht Astrid Köhler Vorzüge und Fallstricke dieser Ansätze, um ein Analysemodell zu entwickeln, das von binären Vor-/Nachbild-Zuweisungen absieht.

    Auch wenn nicht allein das jüngere Kunstschaffen von Praktiken des piktorialen Verweisens, Wiederholens und Recycelns gekennzeichnet ist, wurden diese durch die Verbreitungsmöglichkeiten der Fotografie und des Internets erheblich katalysiert. Lichtbildnerische Reproduktionen sowie das Aufgreifen bekannter Bildformeln in inszenierten Fotografien - etwa im Werk von Rita Nowak, Tatiana Antoshina und Sam Taylor-Johnson - führen zu Kaskaden der Korrelierbarkeit und Déjà-vu-Effekten.
    Ausgehend von Theorien der Intertextualität, Interpiktorialität und Intermedialität untersucht Astrid Köhler Vorzüge und Fallstricke dieser Ansätze, um ein Analysemodell zu entwickeln, das von binären Vor-/Nachbild-Zuweisungen absieht.
