    Marco Haid untersucht den Einfluss von Information und Haftung auf den investierten Arbeitseinsatz sowie das Prüfungshonorar des Abschlussprüfers. Die Ergebnisse des Experiments zeigen, dass bei geringer Informationsqualität des Jahresabschlusses mehr Arbeitsstunden aufgewendet und ein höheres Prüfungshonorar verrechnet wird als bei hoher Informationsqualität. In einer Situation mit hoher Haftung wird mehr Arbeit in die Prüfung investiert als in einer Situation mit geringer Haftung. Sowohl bei hoher Motivation als auch bei hoher Expertise des Abschlussprüfers wird mehr Arbeit investiert und ein höheres Prüfungshonorar verrechnet. Insgesamt haben 148 Studierende des Masterstudienganges Accounting, Auditing & Taxation sowie 31 Praktiker an der Untersuchung teilgenommen. Der Inhalt Die Abschlussprüfung - Funktion, Rahmenbedingungen, Prüfungsqualität Einflussfaktoren der Abschlussprüfung Forschungsziel, Hypothesen und Methodik Empirische Untersuchung Die Zielgruppen Dozierende und Studierende der Wirtschaftsprüfung, Prüfungslehre, Steuerlehre, Betriebswirtschaft sowie des Rechnungswesens Fach- und Führungskräfte aus den Bereichen Wirtschaftsprüfung, Abschlussprüfung, Steuerberatung Der Autor Univ.-Ass. Mag. Dr. Marco Haid ist seit 2014 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut für Rechnungswesen, Steuerlehre und Wirtschaftsprüfung an der Universität Innsbruck. Marco Haid untersucht den Einfluss von Information und Haftung auf den investierten Arbeitseinsatz sowie das Prüfungshonorar des Abschlussprüfers. Die Ergebnisse des Experiments zeigen, dass bei geringer Informationsqualität des Jahresabschlusses mehr Arbeitsstunden aufgewendet und ein höheres Prüfungshonorar verrechnet wird als bei hoher Informationsqualität. In einer Situation mit hoher Haftung wird mehr Arbeit in die Prüfung investiert als in einer Situation mit geringer Haftung. Sowohl bei hoher Motivation als auch bei hoher Expertise des Abschlussprüfers wird mehr Arbeit investiert und ein höheres Prüfungshonorar verrechnet. Insgesamt haben 148 Studierende des Masterstudienganges Accounting, Auditing & Taxation sowie 31 Praktiker an der Untersuchung teilgenommen. Mag. Dr. Marco Haid ist seit 2014 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut für Rechnungswesen, Steuerlehre und Wirtschaftsprüfung an der Universität Innsbruck. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind die Informationsverarbeitung und Honorarbildung in der Abschlussprüfung. .
