    Abstract: 'Vom 15. bis 17. Juni 1995 kamen die Staats- und Regierungschefs der führenden Industrieländer (G7) in Halifax zum diesjährigen turnusmäßigen Weltwirtschaftsgipfel zusammen. Zu den Diskussionsthemen gehörte wie in den Vorjahren der Fortgang der internationalen Unterstützung für den ökonomischen Stabilisierungs- und Transformationsprozeß in Rußland sowie der Ukraine. Außerdem ging es wiederum um die Rolle Rußlands als zukünftiger Partner der G7/P8-Staaten. Der vorliegende Bericht analysiert auf der Grundlage offizieller Dokumente sowie der laufenden Berichterstattung der russischen und internationalen Presse den Verlauf der Unterstützungsaktivitäten für Rußland und die Ukraine seit dem Vorjahresgipfel in Neapel sowie die Ergebnisse der Gipfelkonferenz von Halifax.'
