    Die indigenen Bewegungen Lateinamerikas fordern auch Jahrzehnte nach dem Ende der Kolonialzeit eine umfassende Dekolonialisierung ein. In diesem Kontext setzt Olaf Kaltmeiers Studie an, um die Kontinuität von Kolonialität in Ecuador im historischen Wandel von der Kolonialzeit bis heute zu erfassen und bedeutsame Konjunkturen der (De-)Kolonialisierung im Spannungsdreieck von Raum, Temporalität und Politik zu identifizieren. Anhand von über 50 Interviews und intensiver Archivarbeit in der für das Andenhochland paradigmatischen Region Saquisilí analysiert er u.a. die Etablierung von Haciendas, die Kommunikation an der Schnittstelle postkolonialer Staatlichkeit sowie die indigenen Kämpfe von der Kolonialzeit über kommunistische Gremien bis hin zur zeitgenössischen indigenen Bewegung In Saquisilí, the cyclic nature of the geopolitics of colonialism in Ecuador is reflected in multiple conflicting forms, from the Caciques right through to contemporary indigenous movements.

    Viele Museen und Sammlungen stehen wegen ihrer Verwobenheit in koloniale Kontexte in der öffentlichen Kritik. Die Aufarbeitung ihrer eigenen Geschichte und Ausstellungspraxis ist längst überfällig. Drei Berliner Museen haben sich auf den Weg gemacht, sich selbstkritisch ihrer Kolonialität zu stellen: das Brücke-Museum, das Deutsche Technikmuseum und das Stadtmuseum Berlin. Die Beitragenden geben Einblicke in diesen Reflexionsprozess, die Möglichkeiten der Umgestaltung und die daraus folgenden Konsequenzen für die Museumspraxis. Damit liefern sie Impulse für die langfristige und intensive Aufarbeitung des Themas, die anderen Museen als Anregung dienen können.

    Based on extensive field work focused on interreligious peacebuilding practices in Kenya and the Philippines, this article argues that decolonial accounts of peacebuilding, in line with decolonial interventions in the study of religion, remain captive to the task of epistemological undoing and thus insufficiently relevant to the precarious lives of many invisibalized people in the global South. The question is whether decolonial thinking in the study of religion and theology should concern itself with such pertinence. I first examine the colonial legacy of “peace” and key features of decolonial interventions in the modernist, civilizational, and developmentalist discourses within which “peace” is embedded. Next, I analyze how interreligious peacebuilding practices both entrench coloniality while improving the lives of people who engage in such practices and how such practices rely on thin or “sticky notes” religiosity, deeply inconsistent with decolonial theologies and religiosity. Finally, I show how, on the ground, mere existence and overcoming hate reside along a spectrum of decolonial politics.
