    Zusammenfassung: Diese Arbeit nimmt ihren Ausgang von einer Kritik der Grundlegung des realistischen Gehalts der Historiographie in der narrativistischen Geschichtstheorie (White, Danto). Dabei soll gezeigt werden, wie die Begriffe des Ereignisses und des Berichtes eingesetzt werden, um den Bezug der historischen Erzählung auf die geschichtliche Wirklichkeit zu sichern (I. und II.). Texttheoretische Überlegungen zum Verhältnis von Augenzeugenbericht und historischem Ereignis führen zum Entwurf einer Ereignis-Theorie der Geschichte, in der der historiographische Text lediglich über einen minimalen Bezug zur Realität verfügt. Diese im Anschluss an Deleuze' 'Logique du Sens' formulierte Theorie wird dann mit einer Lektüre von DeLillos 'Libra' verbunden um darzustellen, wie ein serieller Apparat das Verhältnis von textuellem, Aussage-Ereignis und realem, Ding-Ereignis organisiert, als den zwei Seiten eines reinen Ereignisses, das sie zugleich trennt und zusammenfügt (III.)
