    Schlanker Staat, streitbare Demokratie, Denken in Netzwerken – Leitbilder sind omnipräsent! Als verdeckte normative Impulse sickern sie in das Recht, seine Strukturen und Institutionen ein und prägen es mit den ihnen immanenten Ordnungs- und Gerechtigkeitsvorstellungen aus dem Hintergrund. Doch was genau sind Leitbilder und welche Bedeutung haben sie im und für das Recht?Johanna Braun geht diesen Fragen durch die Analyse ausgewählter Leitbilder in rechtspolitischen, gerichtlichen und rechtswissenschaftlichen Diskurszusammenhängen nach und begründet das Leistungs- und Gefahrenpotential von Leitbildern, vor allem aber ihre neuerliche Attraktivität aus dem zentralen Merkmal und gleichzeitigen Kristallisationspunkt ihrer ambivalenten Natur: ihrer Bildlichkeit. So werden Leitbilder nicht nur zum Anknüpfungspunkt für bild- und medientheoretische Reflexionen in der Rechtswissenschaft, sondern machen darüber hinaus medial bedingte Veränderungstendenzen im Recht sichtbar.Die Arbeit wurde mit dem Werner von Simson-Preis der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität Freiburg ausgezeichnet.
