    Abstract ; Das zweisprachige Emblembuch >Emblematum Tyrocinia: Sive Picta Poesis Latinogermanica. Das ist Eingeblümete Zierwerck oder Gemälpoesy< wurde im Jahre 1581 von Bernhard Jobin in Straßburg publiziert. Die typen- und motivgeschichtlich orientierte Analyse der strukturellen Ordnungsprinzipien des Emblembuches, vor allem der lateinischen und deutschen Texte von Mathias Holtzwart und der Holzschnitte nach Tobias Stimmer, zeigt den Gegensatz, in dem das Emblembuch zur literarischen Anthologie steht: Die besondere Form des Emblembuches erweist sich als das späthumanistisch geprägte Programm eines idealen "curriculum vitae". Die künstlerischen Techniken des Zitats symbolischer Bildmotive und literarischer Topoi in Bild und Text der >Emblematum Tyrocinia< bedingen hierbei die komplexen Bedeutungen der einzelnen Embleme und ihres Kontextes. Die in der Forschung zur Emblematik bislang vernachlässigten historischen Praktiken der Leser konnten im Fall der >Emblematum Tyrocinia< an zwei als "album amicorum" benutzten Exemplaren beschrieben werden. Diese Praktik läßt ebenso wie die deutschsprachige Vorrede Johann Fischarts, die zweite Auflage der Holzschnitte mit Texten Nikolaus Reusners (Straßburg 1587) und die künstlerischen Rezeptionen durch Matthias Merian dem Aelteren (Straßburg 1624) nicht nur Einsichten in die "Dispositionen" der Leser zu, sondern auch in die Intentionen des Verlegers. Die Emblembücher des späten 16. Jahrhunderts wurden im deutschsprachigen Raum zunehmend als "album amicorum" präsentiert - eine Entwicklung, an deren Anfang die Verlagsinitiative Bernhard Jobins steht und deren Verlauf von den Praktiken der Leser bestimmt wurde. ; Abstract ; The bilingual emblem book >Emblematum Tyrocinia: Sive Picta Poesis Latinogermanica. Das ist Eingeblümete Zierwerck oder Gemälpoesy< was published by Bernhard Jobin at Strasbourg in 1581. My structural interpretation of the emblem book, especially of the latin and german texts by Mathias Holtzwart and the woodcuts after Tobias Stimmer, concentrates on the iconographic themes and literary topics. In doing this the difference between the emblem book and the anthology showed: The specific form of the emblem book originated in the ideal programm of a humanistic "curriculum vitae". The artistic techniques of citation of symbolic images like emblems, devices and hieroglyphs and literary topics provide the framework for the complex significance of the emblems and their contexts. The historical reading practices of the >Emblematum Tyrocinia< are described by two copies, which were used by their readers as alba amicorum. Today the two copies are in Nuremberg and Augsbourg. Like the german preface of Johann Fischart, the second edition of the woodcuts with texts by Nikolaus Reusner (Strasbourg 1587) and the artistic "citation" of emblematic motives by Matthias Merian the Older (Strasbourg 1624), the two alba amicorum demonstrate the "disposition" (Roger Chartier) of the readers and the intention of the publisher. The german emblem books were issued mainly by the publishers as "album amicorum". A development which began with the initiative of Bernhard Jobin and the emblem book >Emblematum Tyrocinia

    A History of Reading could be defined as many stories still pending. One of the tasks of the field is to build a history of the academic edition and a history of the books stored in the libraries of universities. But how is that story built? What are the knowledge dissemination strategies of the researchers of the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras (Universidad de Buenos Aires)? What do the libraries of the Institutes keep in their memory? How can we reconstruct the testimony of a (possible) reading in the university using the memory of those Institutions? How can the contents of university libraries be used to understand the culture of publishing and reading? What do the new theoretical perspectives on the explanation of reading contribute to these questions? In this context, the present project, Editar y leer en la Universidad. Una historia de la edición académica de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras (UBA) desde la Historia de la Lectura, aims to look for new keys of interpretation to these questions, acknowledging that this is a valuable opportunity to start the path of rethinking concepts and categories, based on the new trends in Reading History. Una Historia de la Lectura son muchas historias todavía pendientes, y una de esas tareas es construir una historia de la edición académica y una historia de los libros guardados en las bibliotecas de las universidades, pero ¿cómo se construye esa historia?, ¿cuáles son las estrategias de difusión del conocimiento de los investigadores de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires?, ¿qué guardan en su memoria las bibliotecas de los Institutos y cómo a partir de ellas se puede reconstruir el testimonio de una lectura (posible) en la universidad?, ¿cómo utilizar los contenidos de las bibliotecas universitarias para comprender la cultura de la edición y la lectura?, ¿qué aportan las nuevas perspectivas teóricas dedicadas a la explicación de la lectura a estas cuestiones? En este contexto, el presente proyecto, Editar y leer en la Universidad. Una historia de la edición académica de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras (UBA) desde la Historia de la Lectura, tiene como objetivo principal buscar nuevas claves de interpretación a dichas demandas, entendiendo que esta es una valiosa oportunidad para iniciar el camino para repensar conceptos y categorías desde las nuevas tendencias de la Historia de la Lectura.Proyecto FILO:CyT 2019-2021, FC19-031

    Das Lesen gehört zu den wichtigsten Kulturtechniken des Menschen und hat wesentlich zur kulturellen und gesellschaftlichen Entwicklung beigetragen. Lesen. Ein interdisziplinäres Handbuch nähert sich dem komplexen Phänomen aus unterschiedlichen Analyseperspektiven. Neurobiologie, Kognitionspsychologie, Sprachpsychologie und Linguistik erforschen die Voraussetzungen und Grundlagen des Lesens als Verstehensprozess und Sprachverarbeitung. Die medientechnische Perspektive und die Semiotik beschreiben die unterschiedlichen Lesemedien von der Antike bis zur Gegenwart als Übertragungskanäle und Anordnungen von Schrift- und Bildzeichen (Typographie), die Informationen über Zeit und Raum bereitstellen. Organisationen und Institutionen wirken auf Lesen als soziales Handeln in der Gesellschaft ein. Thematisiert werden Lesen in sozialen Beziehungen, Maßnahmen der Leseförderung und Bereitstellorganisationen wie Buchhandel und Bibliothek. Die handlungstheoretische Perspektive schließlich geht von den Funktionen und Leistungen der unterschiedlichen Lesemedien aus und betrachtet Mediennutzung und Lesen als soziales Handeln des Einzelnen und in der Gesellschaft. Dies wird in historischer Perspektive vertieft und Lesestoffe, Leseverhalten und Lesefunktionen von der Antike bis in die Gegenwart beleuchtet.Das vorliegende Standardwerk zeichnet sich durch einen strikt interdisziplinären Zugang aus.
