    Abstract: Angela Carter was an English fiction writer and journalist. Her female protagonists often take an empowered roles where they rise up against oppression and fight for both sexual and political equality. The actions of these women are direct reflections of the feminist movement that took place in the 1970s. The concepts within this movement relating specifically to the ideologies of radical-libertarian feminist, and regarding the extent to which she promotes feminist due to her style, referred to as "Galm-Rock" feminism. Carter began experimenting with writing fairy tales in 1970, which coincided with the period of second wave feminism in the Unites States. The majority of Angela Carter's work revolve around a specific type of feminism, radical libertarian feminism and her critique of the patriarchal role that have been placed on women.     Abstract: In 1979, Carter published one of her mast renowned collections of short fiction, The Bloody Chamber. The majority of Angela Carter's work revolve around a specific type of feminism, radical libertarian feminism and her critique of the patriarchal role that have been placed on women. which she promotes feminist due to her style, referred to as "Galm-Rock" feminism In this article, the main concentrate is on heroine's internalized consciousness which echoes in their behavior. All of the female protagonists in carter's short stories; such as The Werewolf, The Wolf-Alice, and mainly in The Company of Wolves have similar characteristics with different conditions, in which they are represented in a very negative light with less than ideal roles. In these stories, the protagonist is a young girl who has many conflicts with love and desire. Carter attempts to encourage women to do something about this degrading representation

    Tabus befinden sich im ständigen Wandel und die zu bestimmten Zeiten geltenden Tabuzonen verschieben sich ständig. Dieser Band versammelt Beiträge, in denen diverse, sowohl typisch schweizerische als auch allgemeingültige Tabuzonen und Tabubrüche angesprochen werden, wobei es sich ebenso um literarische wie auch geschichtlich-politische, geschlechtliche, sittliche und religiöse oder künstlerisch-gesellschaftliche Tabus handelt, wie sie in verschiedenen Werken der Deutschschweizer Literatur zur Sprache gebracht wurden. Damit wird aufgezeigt, dass vor allem die Kunst den Mut und die subversive Kraft hat, die geltenden Tabus kritisch zu hinterfragen und durch die Inszenierung von Tabubrüchen die Gesellschaft zur vertieften Reflexion und in der Folge zum vorurteilsfreien Denken und Handeln anzuregen. This volume brings together essays on a variety of both universal and specifically Swiss taboo zones and also on breaches of taboo which feature in works of German-Swiss literature. Literary, political, social, sexual, moral and religious taboos are discussed. Existing taboo zones are shown to displace themselves at certain times and taboos to be in a constant state of flux. The essays demonstrate that art has the courage and the subversive force to challenge accepted taboos and by creating breaches of taboo to promote reflection on unprejudiced thought and action.

Seine Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind Kinder- und Jugendhilfe, Erlebnispädagogik und Fußballforschung. -- Long description: Die sexuelle Selbstbestimmung des Menschen besitzt eine besondere Wertigkeit, Inszenierung ihrer Verletzung in Film und Fernsehen verdienen deshalb eine besondere Aufmerksamkeit. Dieser Band analysiert das Thema umfassend, klärt Inhalte, untersucht Genre, Formate und Versatzstücke entsprechend ihre narrative Bedeutung. Es wird eine interdisziplinäre Position eingenommen, die als Grundlage der weiteren Diskussion der erziehungs- und sozial(arbeits)wissenschaftlichen Praxis und Disziplin dienen kann und soll. Die sexuelle Selbstbestimmung des Menschen besitzt eine besondere Wertigkeit. Inszenierung sexueller Gewalt im Mainstreamkino ebenso in Fernsehserien und in pornographischem Material obliegen deshalb außergewöhnlicher Aufmerksamkeit und werden in der Öffentlichkeit mit besonderer Emotionalität wahrgenommen. Dies gilt, obwohl die Darstellungen eindeutig fiktional, aber vielleicht weil die Aufführungen des Leids kommerziell sind.     Marcel Reich-Ranicki stellte 1991 fest, dass die deutsche Literatur seit den 1970er Jahren unerhört unerotisch sei. Das Problem der literarischen Bearbeitung des Erotischen scheint eine der schwierigsten künstlerischen Aufgaben zu sein. Die damit verbundenen Schwierigkeiten sind, abhängig von der Epoche, unterschiedlich bedingt. Im 19. Jahrhundert mussten sich die Autoren aller (un-)möglichen Metaphern bedienen, um das Verborgene zu verbildlichen. Und sogar dann brachte das Endresultat oft schwerwiegende Kontroversen mit sich, die heute fast unglaublich vorkommen. Andererseits stößt man in der mittelalterlichen Minnesang-Dichtung und dann in zahllosen Verserzählungen auf Manches, was die liberalsten aufklärerischen Verleger sogar heute noch in Verlegenheit bringen würde. Aus moderner Perspektive erweist sich aber die Frage nach den ästhetisch akzeptablen Formen der erzählten Sexualität längst als obsolet.Der vorliegende Sammelband zu den verschiedenen Sexualitätsbildern in der (deutschsprachigen) Literatur setzt sich zum Ziel, die historische Komplexität des Problemfeldes Sexualitätanhand ausgewählter Textbeispiele literaturästhetisch genauer zu beleuchten und damit analytische Kriterien zu gewinnen, um neues Licht auf die verschiedensten literarhistorischen Epochen und kulturellen Bedingungen zu werfen.
