    The perspectives of decolonisation and postcolonialism still remain on the margins of peace and conflict studies in Germany. This special issue offers a first overview of how key concepts of peace and conflict studies, such as violence, vulnerability, flight, statehood, space, counterinsurgency policy or the identity of young Colombian adults, could benefit from the aforementioned perspectives. The contributions it contains come from political science, critical geography, refugee studies, disaster and vulnerability research, social psychology and sociology.With contributions byClaudia Brunner, María Cárdenas, Sven Chojnacki, Cordula Dittmer, Christiane Fröhlich, Alke Jenss, Daniel Lorenz, Fabian Namberger, Ruth Streicher, Gerdis Wischnath In der deutschsprachigen Friedens- und Konfliktforschung werden dekoloniale und postkoloniale Perspektiven bisher noch selten verwendet und kaum intensiv diskutiert. Der vorliegende ZeFKo-Sonderband bietet einen Einblick in verschiedene Ansätze, die Gewalt, Vulnerabilität, Flucht, Staatlichkeit, Raum, Counterinsurgency-Politik oder Identitätskonstruktionen kolumbianischer Jugendlicher durch dekoloniale und postkoloniale Perspektiven für die Friedens- und Konfliktforschung fruchtbar machen. Der Band vereint Beiträge aus der Politikwissenschaft, Kritischen Sozialgeographie, Fluchtforschung, Katastrophen- und Vulnerabilitätsforschung, Sozialpsychologie sowie der Soziologie.     Mit der Kombination aus postkolonialen Theorien, Entwicklungs- und Technikforschung betritt diese interdisziplinäre Arbeit neue Wege und trägt durch zwei detaillierte Fallstudien zum theoretischen Erkenntnisgewinn und zu einer kritischen entwicklungspolitischen Praxis bei. Zunächst werden aktuelle diskursive Formationen und politische Strategien des Energie- & "Entwicklungs"-Nexus herausgearbeitet und die Rolle von Technologien aus entwicklungs- und technikkritischer Perspektive reflektiert. Vor diesem theoretischen Hintergrund werden mittels ethnografischer Forschung Prozesse der Technikentwicklung in zwei Fallstudien deutsch-tansanischer Partnerschaften rekonstruiert, aus einer postkolonialen Perspektive analysiert sowie Möglichkeiten und Hemmnisse einer selbstbestimmten Technikentwicklung und -nutzung betrachtet. Die Fallstudien untersuchen die Kooperation zweier NGOs und zweier Unternehmen zur Entwicklung eines neuen Typs von Haushalts-Biogasanlagen bzw. von Solar-Home-Systemen. Das Werk hat den Wissenschaftspreis der Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Sachsen gewonnen

    The perspectives of decolonisation and postcolonialism still remain on the margins of peace and conflict studies in Germany. This special issue offers a first overview of how key concepts of peace and conflict studies, such as violence, vulnerability, flight, statehood, space, counterinsurgency policy or the identity of young Colombian adults, could benefit from the aforementioned perspectives.     Durch den weltwärts-Freiwilligendienst soll es ermöglicht werden, einen „persönlichen Beitrag zu einer gerechten Welt“ zu leisten. Doch welche Vorstellungen gehen mit diesem Dienst einher, der sich in einem von ungleichen Machtverhältnissen geprägten politischen Kontext bewegt? Mithilfe postkolonialer und feministischer Theorien untersucht die Autorin die Repräsentationen und Programmstrukturen. Sie fragt nach deren kolonialem Erbe und Nutzen für die Teilnehmenden. Im Fokus der Diskursanalyse steht die kritische Auseinandersetzung mit Konzepten von Entwicklung in Verbindung mit denen eines Weltbürgertums, das als pädagogische Antwort auf Globalisierungsfragen gilt.Die Studie zeigt die Verstrickung von kolonialer Geschichte und der Gegenwart entwicklungspolitischem Engagements auf. Sie verdeutlicht, wie notwendig es ist, eine machtkritische Perspektive auf Programme dieser Art zu werfen, um global-gesellschaftliche Machtverhältnisse nicht zu reproduzieren, sondern sie verändern zu können
