    Die Studie überwindet den vermeintlichen Gegensatz von Paul Ricœurs und Jacques Lacans Interpretationen der Psychoanalyse Freuds, indem sie diese auf dialektische Modelle reflexiven Selbstbewusstseins zurückführt. Beide Autoren verstehen Subjektivität als über das Andere vermittelt. Während Ricœur, inspiriert durch die Dialektik Fichtes, das Ziel einer reflexiven Aneignung des Anderen durch das Selbst formuliert, verliert sich das reflexive Moment in Lacans hegelianischer Dialektik in der ekstatischen Verweisung auf Anderes. Diese dialektische Deutung ermöglicht eine neue Vergleichsperspektive auf Ricœurs hermeneutische und Lacans strukturalistische Interpretation der Psychoanalyse. The study bridges the gap bewtween Paul Ricœur’s and Jacques Lacan’s interpretations of Freudian psychoanalysis by relating both to dialectical models of reflexive self-consciousness. Both authors conceive of subjectivity as mediated through the Other. While Ricœur, inspired by Fichte’s dialectic, aims at a a reflexive appropriation of the Other by the self, in Lacan’s Hegelian dialectic the reflexive moment is dissipated in the ecstatic reference to the Other. This dialectical interpretation allows for a new comparative perspective on Ricœur’s hermeneutic as well as Lacan’s structuralist interpretation of psychoanalysis.

    This publication explores the presence of the shared heritage and interdependence of poetry composed around the theme of wine in diverse literary traditions of the Islamic world. The specialist contributions discuss multiple aspects of the literary polyphony of wine in the pre-modern Arabic, Persian, Hebrew, Ottoman Turkish, and Urdu literatures during the first millennium of the Islamic era. Presenting these together and in dialogue with one another, the volume offers a comparative perspective on a long, varied, but singularly mutual tradition. It traces how this poetry develops, flourishes and matures across linguistic and geographic, confessional and social, aesthetic and artistic boundaries within the regions of the religiously and culturally diverse Islamic world, from al-Andalūs to India.
