    Kariyer planlama bireyin geleceğe yönelik meslek/iş yaşamı konusunda planlama yapmasıdır. Kariyer planlamasının temeli, çalışan değerlendirmesidir. Kariyere yönelik ilk ciddi tercihlerin yapıldığı ve potansiyel meslek profesyonellerinin yetiştirildiği alanların başında üniversiteler gelmektedir. Alman Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü ise dönem içerisinde yaklaşık 250 öğrenci kapasitesi bulunan ve sıkça tercih edilen üniversite bölümlerinden biridir. Mezunlarına farklı alanlarda pek çok kariyer imkanı sunan bu bölümün öğrencilerinin kariyer planlarının belirlenmesi meslek adaylarının gelecekteki istihdamı ve kariyer planlama yapması için önemli ve gereklidir. Toplanan veriler SPSS programında yüzde, ki-kare testi ve frekans dağılımı ile değerlendirilmiştir. Öğrencilerin planlama sonuçları tüm detaylarıyla sunulmuştur. ; Career planning is a plan of an individual about profession/working life. The basic of career planning is the employee assessment. Universities are leading institutions in which first and serious choices about careers are made, and potential professionals are educated. The Department of German Language and Literature is one of the departments in universities which has a capacity of about 250 students in a term and which is frequently preferred by students. Career planning of students in this department, which provides many opportunities for its graduates in different areas, is important and necessary in terms of future professional employments and career plannings. The collected data were measured in percentage, the chi-square test and the frequency distribution by using the SPSS program. Planning results of students were presented in detail.
