    In der Zeit des Medienwechsels erhalten Bucheingänge früher gedruckter niederländischer Historien eine neue Ausgestaltung, wie ihre europäischen Pendants. Informationen zu Produktion, Rezeption und narratio, die in der Handschriftenzeit der Prolog bereitstellte, werden auf das Titelblatt, das Prolog-Incipit, den Prolog und das Erzähltext-Incipit verteilt. Die in den Bucheingängen formulierten Qualitäten werden in theoretische Erörterungen über den Zusammenhang von Erinnerung, Fiktion und Wahrheit eingebettet, die Anfänge einer ‘Dichtungstheorie’ für einen breiteren Publikumsmarkt erkennen lassen. In the time of media change the book beginnings of early printed Dutch ‘histories’ show a new arrangement, like their European counterparts. Information about the production, reception and narratio, in the manuscript age provided in the prologue, is distributed on the title page, the prologue-incipit, the prologue and the incipit to the main narrative. The qualities of the histories, expressed at the book beginnings, are embedded into theoretical discussions about the connection between memory, fiction and truth, which could be called the beginnings of a ‘literary theory’ for a broader public.

    Whether in crypto assets or in CBDCs, design choices can make an important difference to the energy consumption of digital currencies. This paper establishes the main components and technological options that determine the energy profile of digital currencies. It draws on academic and industry estimates to compare digital currencies to each other and to existing payment systems and derives implications for the design of environmentally friendly CBDCs. For distributed ledger technologies, the key factors affecting energy consumption are the ability to control participation and the consensus algorithm. While crypto assets like Bitcoin are wasteful in terms of resources, other designs could be more energy efficient than existing payment systems
