    Interrogeant l’idée que seul un art anesthétique saurait jouer un rôle face aux urgences écologiques, l’enquête sur la rencontre sensible avec les vivants – et son potentiel de transformation de l’attention – chez Tomás Saraceno et Marguerite Humeau invite à réévaluer les enjeux possibles de l’art et, à l’horizon, d’une esthétique du vivant en temps d’extinction – à condition de prendre au sérieux la dimension expérientielle de la crise actuelle, et de repenser les rapports entre sensibilité et action. Questioning the idea that art ought to be an-aesthetic should it play any role in times of ecological upheaval, an inquiry into the encounter with living beings – and how it transforms our modes of attention – in Tomás Saraceno and Marguerite Humeau’s works invites us to reconsider the potential roles of art, and of an aesthetics of the living in times of extinction – provided that we take seriously the experiential dimension of the current crisis, and rethink the relation between sensibility and action.
