'Volpone' is the sharpest, funniest play about money and morals in the seventeenth century - a play still wickedly relevant four centuries later. Jonson's comedy depicts selfishness thinly veiled by sanctimonious speeches, lust and possessiveness poorly disguised as love and marriage, and cynical legalism passing itself off as pure justice - as well as examining snobbery, class warfare, and greed. It was first performed by the King's Men at the Globe in 1606, and was printed in quarto in 1607.

An Evil Meal of Evil is a play about greed and its consequences. Set in the traditional African village of 'Ntisong', the play exposes the complexities of unravelling the issue of Death. Sunyin, the young wife of Dohbani epitomizes what is wrong with coerced marriages. A group of blood thirsty vampires popularly known in the village as members of 'Nda Saah' superstitiously kill targeted individuals purposely to enrich themselves. Sunyin, the protagonist in the play suffers from a premature widowhood simply because her father Njukebim forced her into marrying Dohbani. As the play unravels with

William Paterson devised one of the most daring speculations of all time: to found a Scottish colony on Darien in Central America and turn Scotland into a colonial power. He invited the public to invest. And they did - in a big way. Within weeks a vast proportion of the nation's wealth had been subscribed. The plan went so badly wrong though, that, within a few years, the Scots - demoralised and impoverished - were forced to give up their nation's independent status and sign the 1707 Treaty of Union with England. Inspired by documents, journals, letters, songs and poems of the period, 'Caledonia' is both a tribute to heroic ambition and a darkly witty take on the deceptions and self-deceptions of rich and poor alike. It was first performed in Edinburgh in 2010

For years the members of the large and pathologically litigious Gaines family have seen one another only across the courtroom or across the casket. For this family, a revered and time-honored tradition has been, as soon as one member dies, to lose no time in contesting the will, aided by the warring (and related) law firms of Shapolsky and Shapolsky and Shapolsky & Shapolsky. Now their endless family squabble takes a new turn when fresh-faced young banker Amelia Vanderbilt helps Harry Gaines, 92-year-old patriarch and possessor of a multimillion-dollar fortune, draft a will requiring his fractious heirs to "get along" - or lose the whole David, ne'er-do-well and Cap d'Antibes denizen, open a disco? Will the money be used to fund homeless shelters or to open a museum of stunt car driving? What will the two Shapolsky law firms do if they lose their best (and only) clients? And what secrets is Amelia hiding as she tries to shepherd the Gaineses into an agreement? But can the Gaineses agree on anything? Or will a hundred years of spite and an army of greedy lawyers spoil the last hope for family peace? Greed
