    Bedingt durch den demografischen Wandel sind beinahe ein Drittel der Lehrpersonen in Österreich in der Altersgruppe 55+ zu finden. Dieser Gruppe kommt somit im Schulsystem eine hohe und relevante Bedeutung zu. Im Fokus stehen aus diesem Grund Motivationsfaktoren und Arbeitszufriedenheit von Lehrer:innen an Wiener Pflichtschulen, die älter als 55 Jahre alt sind. Das Ziel dieser wissenschaftlichen Arbeit ist es, herauszufinden, welche und wie diese positiven Faktoren für das Schulsystem nutzbringend angewandt und in weiterer Folge in den Schulalltag überführt werden können. Gleichzeitig wird untersucht, in welcher Form die Pädagogischen Hochschulen durch Fort- und Weiterbildung persönliche Motivationsprozesse unterstützen können. Due to demographic change, almost one third of the teachers in Austria are in the 55+ age group. This group is therefore of great and relevant importance in the school system. For this reason, the focus is on motivation factors and job satisfaction of teachers at Viennese compulsory schools who are older than 55. The aim of this scientific work is to find out which and how these positive factors can be used beneficially for the school system and subsequently transferred into everyday school life. At the same time, it will be investigated in which form the teacher training colleges can support personal motivation processes through further education and training.

    ger: Die vorliegende Arbeit befasst sich mit den Erwartungen von mehrsprachigen Lehramtsstudierenden in Hinblick auf die Verwendung ihrer sprachlichen Ressourcen im Lehrberuf. Die Mehrsprachigkeit ist ein täglicher Bestandteil in unserem heutigen pädagogischen Berufsalltag. Die Ausgangshypothese dieser Arbeit besteht darin, dass mehrsprachige Lehrkräfte Schüler/innen mit anderer Herkunftssprache aufgrund ihrer eigenen Erfahrungen mit Mehrsprachigkeit unterstützen können. Im theoretischen Teil werden alle relevanten Begriffe, die der Forschungsfrage zu Grunde liegen, mit Hilfe von ausführlicher Literaturrecherche definiert. Einen wichtigen Teil nimmt die Sichtung und Auseinandersetzung mit der vorhandenen wissenschaftlichen Literatur zu mehrsprachigen Lehramtsstudierenden und Lehrer/innen ein. Die gesellschaftspolitischen und bildungspolitischen Rahmenbedingungen für die Mehrsprachigkeit an unseren Schulen werden ebenfalls beschrieben. Die Grundlage für den empirischen Teil bilden qualitative Gruppeninterviews mit Studierenden, welche im Rahmen eines gemeinsamen Forschungsprojekts der PH Kärnten und der PH Wien zu den Sprachprofilen der Studierenden und Lehrenden an beiden Hochschulen geführt wurden. eng: The presented paper deals with the expectations of multilingual future school teachers in regard to the use of their language resources. The multilingualism is a daily component in our educational professional routine. The hypothesis of this work is, that multilingual teachers can support pupils with another origin language due to their own experiences with multilingualism. In the theoretical part all relevant terms of the research question will be defined with the help of detailed literature research. An important part is the screening of the existing scientific literature about multilingual future teachers and teachers at school. The sociopolitical and educational frameworks for multilingualism in our schools are also described. The basis for the empirical part are the qualitative group interviews with the students.
