    Was haben Dialogeröffnungen, Sonette und die Interaktionsstile unterschiedlichster kultureller und sozialer Gruppen gemeinsam? Das verbindende Element ist die Traditionalität des Sprechens – alle Sprecher folgen kulturellen Mustern, um ihre kommunikativen Intentionen erfolgreich und angemessen zu vermitteln. So wie ein Sonett oder ein Roman durch literarische Traditionen der Textgestaltung geformt ist, so folgen auch Dialogeröffnungen oder der Gesprächsstil, den Menschen in unterschiedlichen Kontexten und Kommunikationssituationen pflegen, kulturellen Traditionen und Gewohnheiten. Ausgangspunkt dieses Bandes ist die in den letzten Jahren intensiv diskutierte Funktion der Diskurstraditionen, die als kulturelles Wissen die Gestaltung von Texten anleiten und damit den Kern einer kulturbezogenen Sprachwissenschaft ausmachen. Die (romanistische) Diskurstraditionenforschung fragt nach den kulturellen Techniken des Sprechens in verschiedenen Sprach- und Kulturräumen und nach deren Relevanz für die Ausformung gesellschaftlicher und kultureller Gruppierungen. Dieser Band präsentiert und diskutiert ausgehend von der Theoriebildung in der Romanistik in verschiedenen Fachkulturen entwickelte Modelle und Methoden, die erklären, wie Traditionen unser Sprechen und Schreiben beeinflussen. Er eröffnet Perspektiven für eine fächerübergreifende philogisch-kulturwissenschaftliche Analyse von Texten und Diskursen. ; ger

Das verbindende Element ist die Traditionalität des Sprechens – alle Sprecher folgen kulturellen Mustern, um ihre kommunikativen Intentionen erfolgreich und angemessen zu vermitteln. Research on the (romanistic) discursive tradition looks into the cultural techniques of speech in different linguistic and cultural areas and their relevance for shaping societal and cultural groups. On the basis of theory formation in Romanistic studies this volume presents and discusses models and methods developed in different areas of study that explain how traditions influence our speech and our writing.
