    Gut lesbare Untersuchung der spezifisch medialen Sprache von Literatur und Film anhand der Verfilmungen von 4 zum Kanon des Deutschunterrichts gehörenden Romanen. (Ingo Tornow) Der Film hatte und hat es zum Teil heute noch schwer, als eigenständige Kunstform anerkannt zu werden. Andererseits wird die Rezeptionskompetenz in Bezug auf Film im Gegensatz zur Literatur autodidaktisch erworben und man muss über weite Strecken von einem filmischen Analphabetismus sprechen. In der Schule wird Film am ehesten noch als Literaturverfilmung im Anschluss an die Behandlung der entsprechenden Vorlagen im Deutschunterricht behandelt und das oft nur als "Bonbon" und bei weitgehendem Fehlen einer adäquaten Medienästhetik mit dem präjudizierten Ergebnis, dass das Buch besser sei als der Film. Dem gegenzusteuern erläutert der Literaturdidaktiker Staiger nach grundsätzlichen Erörterungen anhand der Verfilmungen von 4 Romanen, die zum Kanon des Deutschunterrichts gehören, verständlich und gut nachvollziehbar mit aussagekräftigen Illustrationen die jeweils spezifische mediale Sprache von literarischer Vorlage und Film und ihren eigenständigen Kunstcharakter. Auch für außerschulische Leser interessant, wenn sie sich durch die ständigen Verweise auf den Deutschunterricht nicht irritieren lassen. (2 S) (Ingo Tornow)

    Gut lesbare Untersuchung der spezifisch medialen Sprache von Literatur und Film anhand der Verfilmungen von 4 zum Kanon des Deutschunterrichts gehörenden Romanen. (Ingo Tornow) Der Film hatte und hat es zum Teil heute noch schwer, als eigenständige Kunstform anerkannt zu werden. Andererseits wird die Rezeptionskompetenz in Bezug auf Film im Gegensatz zur Literatur autodidaktisch erworben und man muss über weite Strecken von einem filmischen Analphabetismus sprechen. In der Schule wird Film am ehesten noch als Literaturverfilmung im Anschluss an die Behandlung der entsprechenden Vorlagen im Deutschunterricht behandelt und das oft nur als "Bonbon" und bei weitgehendem Fehlen einer adäquaten Medienästhetik mit dem präjudizierten Ergebnis, dass das Buch besser sei als der Film. Dem gegenzusteuern erläutert der Literaturdidaktiker Staiger nach grundsätzlichen Erörterungen anhand der Verfilmungen von 4 Romanen, die zum Kanon des Deutschunterrichts gehören, verständlich und gut nachvollziehbar mit aussagekräftigen Illustrationen die jeweils spezifische mediale Sprache von literarischer Vorlage und Film und ihren eigenständigen Kunstcharakter. Auch für außerschulische Leser interessant, wenn sie sich durch die ständigen Verweise auf den Deutschunterricht nicht irritieren lassen. (2 S) (Ingo Tornow)
