    Die traditionelle rhetorische Kategorie der Evidenz hat angesichts eines neuen Strebens nach anschaulicher Darstellung in den vergangenen Jahren zunehmende Relevanz erlangt. Im Zuge dieser Entwicklung bringt „Rhetorik und Ästhetik der Evidenz“ aktualisierende Betrachtungen zum Themenfeld der Anschaulichkeit zusammen. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt hierbei auf sprachlichen Evidenzphänomenen und theoretischen Grundlagenbetrachtungen. Im Zentrum steht die Fragestellung, mit welchen Mitteln Anschaulichkeit auf effektive Weise erzeugt werden kann – und welche Rolle Evidenz in der erfolgreichen Vermittlung von Informationen sowie der emotionalen Beeinflussung der Adressaten einnimmt. In der Zusammenführung theoretischer, historischer und wissenssoziologischer Überlegungen rund um den Zusammenhang zwischen Anschaulichkeit, Ästhetik und Narrativität bieten die Aufsätze des Bandes eine grundlegende rhetorische und literaturwissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit dem Themenbereich der Evidenz. „Rhetorik und Ästhetik der Evidenz“ ist eng verbunden mit der begleitenden Aufsatzsammlung „Medien der Anschaulichkeit“, die weiterführende Betrachtungen zur Praxis der Evidenz in den Bereichen Schule, Wissenschaft und Medien versammelt. “Evidence” is a traditional rhetorical category that has gained in importance in recent years because of new efforts toward clarity of presentation. In consideration of such growing interest, The Rhetoric and Aesthetics of Evidence is a collection of recent explorations on the theme of clarity and evidence. A focus is on linguistic phenomena of evidence and a consideration of theoretical foundations.

    Die traditionelle rhetorische Kategorie der Evidenz hat angesichts eines neuen Strebens nach anschaulicher Darstellung in den vergangenen Jahren zunehmende Relevanz erlangt. Im Zuge dieser Entwicklung bringt "Rhetorik und Ästhetik der Evidenz" aktualisierende Betrachtungen zum Themenfeld der Anschaulichkeit zusammen. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt hierbei auf sprachlichen Evidenzphänomenen und theoretischen Grundlagenbetrachtungen. Im Zentrum steht die Fragestellung, mit welchen Mitteln Anschaulichkeit auf effektive Weise erzeugt werden kann – und welche Rolle Evidenz in der erfolgreichen Vermittlung von Informationen sowie der emotionalen Beeinflussung der Adressaten einnimmt. In der Zusammenführung theoretischer, historischer und wissenssoziologischer Überlegungen rund um den Zusammenhang zwischen Anschaulichkeit, Ästhetik und Narrativität bieten die Aufsätze des Bandes eine grundlegende rhetorische und literaturwissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit dem Themenbereich der Evidenz. "Rhetorik und Ästhetik der Evidenz" ist eng verbunden mit der begleitenden Aufsatzsammlung "Medien der Anschaulichkeit", die weiterführende Betrachtungen zur Praxis der Evidenz in den Bereichen Schule, Wissenschaft und Medien versammelt "Evidence" is a traditional rhetorical category that has gained in importance in recent years because of new efforts toward clarity of presentation.
