This paper examines examples of German binomials and the mechanisms that rule the selection and organization of their elements. Binômios são expressões idiomáticas lexicais formadas por dois elementos da mesma classe formal, unidos por um elo gramatical, geralmente uma preposição ou uma conjunção. O artigo examina exemplos de binômios em alernão e os mecanismos que regem a seleção e a organização de seus elementos.

    Alfred Döblin is a theorist of German Expressionismus and of the epic novel. In "Berlin Alexanderplatz", he shows the theories of his essay "Der Bau des epischen Werks" ("The construction of the epic werk") in practice. The present paper analyses the following aspects of the novel: 1) the development of the plot, 2) the structure, 3) the language, 4) the function of time, 5) the space of the city, 6) the narrator, 7) the characters. Alfred Döblin ist ein Theoretiker des Expressionismus und auch ein Theoretiker des epischen Romans. In seinem Roman "Berlin Alexanderplatz" zeigt er die theoretischen Forderungen seines Essays "Der Bau des epischen Werks" in der Praxis. Der vorliegende Aufsatz untersucht die folgenden Aspekte des Romans: 1) die Entwicklung der Handlung, 2) die Struktur, 3) die Sprache, 4) die Funktion der Zeit, 5) den Raum der Großstadt, 6) den Erzähler, 7) die Figuren.

    The author presents the concept of testimony in two different literary and theoretical backgrounds, namely the German and the Spanish-American. Testimonio and Zeugnis an not be mutually translated because the first is thought as a literary gender inside the literary tradition of mimesis/imitatio. Whereas the notion of Zeugnis was created in Germany on the grounds of Shoah literature, and was strongly impregnated by the psychoanalytical idea of trauma, and by the awareness of the simultaneous necessity and impossibility of the testimonial writing. Der Autor stellt den Zeugnisbegriff in zwei verschiedenen literarischen und theoretischen zusammenhängen vor, dem deutschen und dem hispanoamerikanischen. Testimonio und Zeugnis lassen sich nicht wechselseitig ineinander übersetzen, denn im ersten Fall handelt es sich um einen literarischen Gattungsbegriff innerhalb einer Vorstellung von Literatur als Mimesis/Nachahmung. Der Begriff Zeugnis wurde in Deutschland vor dem ausgehend von der Literatur zur Shoah entwickelt und ist stark geprägt von der psychoanalytischen Theorie des Traumas sowie von dem Bewusstsein, dass es gleichzeitig notwendig und unmöglich sei, Zeugnis abzulegen.

    This paper contextualizes the teaching and learning of German as a foreign language in Brazil in the socio-historical field of colonial and post-colonial discourse. On the basis of three illustrative texts, from 1620, 1855 and 1998, it discusses the Interlocutionary Positions (Lugares de Interlocução; ORLANDI 1990) assumed by German and Brazilian speakers, as well as the possible consequences for the teaching and learning of German as a foreign language. Dieser Aufsatz kontextualisiert den Unterricht und Erwerb von Deutsch als Fremdsprache in Brasilien im sozio-historischen Feld des kolonialen und post-kolonialen Diskurses. Ausgehend von drei illustrativen Texten, einem von 1620, einem von 1855 und einem von 1998, werden die von deutschen und brasilianischen Sprechern eingenommenen Interlokutionsorte (Lugares de Interlocução; ORLANDI 1990) sowie die möglichen Konsequenzen für den Unterricht und Erwerb des Deutschen als Fremdsprache diskutiert.
