The Program in Comparative & Digital Humanities and the Department of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics at Bucknell University invite applications for a one-year position in Comparative & Digital Humanities and German Studies at the visiting assistant professor level beginning in Fall 2022. The successful candidate should be a native or near-native speaker of German; have experience teaching both general humanities and German language and culture on the college level; and should be ABD or have a Ph.D. in German, Comparative Literature, or a related field. The candidate will be expected to teach German language, literature, and/or film courses, as well as interdisciplinary humanities courses in English. The field of specialization is open. The teaching load is three courses per semester.
