This workshop aims to address the phenomenon of fiction which is prominent in contemporary debates in law, literature, and philosophy. Starting by illustrating the conceptual, the functional as well as the historical characteristics of fictions in each of the aforementioned disciplines, we will then discuss commonalities between the uses of fictions across the various disciplines.
